Comments about KitchenAid 30" Free Standing Gas Range - White:
We've had it for two weeks and it's everything we were hoping. Convection, lower flame control on the burners, lots of room on the top, lots of room in the oven and easy to clean. Great purchase!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This is the oven I have always wanted! The 5th burner allows me to get rid of an additional electric griddle and to always have a place to make bacon and pancakes while making the eggs! I can grill indoors if I dont want to go outside or if the weather is bad--I LOVE IT!

I've already had a service tech to the house for repairs, it was a simple code erase but I'm not sure how to rate the stove because I do not know if this code will keep on popping up especially after warranty period expires. We love the way it cooks and bakes just very scepticle right now!!

This is our first gas stove and while it doesn't boil water as fast as an electric, it is great. We enjoy the easy control of the heat with instant on and instant off, plus the convection oven is super. This range looks great too.

Kitchen Aid Gas Range
from Worthington, OH
I've had this gas range for about a week and a half. Overall I really like the stove, however, I have an issue with the burner design. I can't fault Kitchen Aid for this because all the new gas ranges I've looked at are the same. However, it is clear that the designer of the stove top doesn't cook. Why have different size burners, just make the flame easy to adjust. Secondly, why are the smaller burners in the back. I usually use the smaller burners for sauces or things to be stirred. With the present configuration, I am forced to place my arm over a hot, larger frying pan or pasta pan in order to stir whatever is on the back burner. Obviously, this places me in a position to get burned from the heat arising from the larger pan on the front. DUMB!!! Do your customers a favor and if you must have different size burners, put the smaller ones in the front.
Great looking range--really like the gas oven which is the first one I have had. I had gas top but with an electric oven before. Looking forward to many years with this range.
I Love This Stove
from Omaha Ne
I bought this stove a couple months ago. My Jennaire motherboard went out. I absolutely love it. The extra burner is awesome. The design is great also. I love the look.
convection not a plus
we bought it for the convection, unfortunately the directions are spoty, and the cooking times and heat levels have not matched the same quality as the previous cheaper non-convection stove
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
