Perfect machine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m in love with my mixer! I recently started to bake more and this makes everything so much easier. I don’t think my cookies have ever tasted so good. It looks beautiful on my counter in the silver/gray color. I did buy a mat to put under it so I can move it easier. It is very heavy. I find it easy to keep clean. Worth every penny!

Love the Tilt-Head!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this tilt-head mixer. I have been wanting one for a long time and now I finally own one. The Empire Red matches in my kitchen perfectly. I have used a Kitchen Aid Bowl Lift Mixer for several years. It works great but messy when adding ingredients, especially flour. The tilt -head is a little smaller in size than the bowl lift but allows for easy addition of extra ingredients. I love it for baking cakes and cookies with much easier clean up.

Kitchen Necessity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 3rd Kitchenaid I've owned. First one was starting to wear out and I gave it to one of my sons and I bought a new Classic. The second was also starting to slow down, gave it to another son, and bought an Artisan. I love them both, I use them very often. I got the first one to use to demonstrate how to make frosting when I was teaching classes for Wilton. It's the only mixer that could handle making the frosting and didn't get over heated. I love it.

I’ve had the bigger ones with the bowl lift but at 75byears of age this one is easier on my arms. I love the color so much I had to nuy the cordless mixer, processor and blender to match. They all are amazing and I love the,pop of color on my counter.

Time for An Upgrade

My first KitchenAid mixer was a 1997 Ultrapower (4.5 qt) which handled everything, including bathroom floor grout. This Artisan is a bit sturdier and heavier. It's easy to use, our old attachments fit, and I see it being used for everything BUT grout! (He can use the 27 y/o mixer in the basement... it still works well.)

Best mixer with great attachments
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally bought this mixer and an extruder attachment and wondered why I didn't buy one years ago. No more hand kneading bread and pizza dough. I've made soba noodles, pasta, whole wheat rigatoni, beet pasta, cookies more. It's a mighty machine for its size. If extruding dense or heavier doughs, it can get a little warm. Giving it a short rest helps. So far, so good!
