Perfect Down Draft Solution!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace a JennAir that came with our house and no longer worked as an oven. It is a beautiful piece of equipment, and the oven not only works but is enormous. The electric burners are better at both high heat and low heat than our previous gas range.
My only criticism is that the digital features can be a little confusing to get used to. The “Easy Convection” specifically is not particularly easy. But I expect I’ll get used to it in time and won’t even think about it after a while.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range has great features. The oven heats evenly, but is slightly slower to pre-heat. The stove top heats up quickly. We like having the control knobs on the front of the range instead of the top. The broiler is slightly slower to heat up, but getting used to these new features. Enjoy the plentiful size of the oven. Definitely recommend you have pans that sit complete flat on the stove top. Highly recommend that you purchase a reliable stove top cleaner such as Weimans daily cleaner as well as the Weimans stove top polish.

Very nice and large.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've needed a new downdraft for years and am glad I finally bought this one! I was limited to the KitchenAid because my oven is electric.
The install was a bit difficult since it was replacing a 27 yr old Kenmore. It's a little deep for my space but I will make due.
I can't say much about the oven other than it is very large. I haven't had to bake/roast any big items in the few weeks I've had it. Within the next couple months it will be tested. I will say it looks SO pretty.
The cooktop is nice. I would have had a small burner up front not both big burners. I'm short and use the small burners most often and it is a stretch.
The adjustments are nice and more controllable than most electric cooktops.
So far, I like it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a gas downdraft slide in (a different manufacturer) with the Kitchen Aid electric downdraft slide in. Converting from gas to electric has gone much better than expected. There is a learning curve of course but so far so good. I actually think it is harder for my husband than me. I was skeptical about the glass cooktop but am finding it easier to keep clean than my gas cooktop. The appliance itself is beautiful and coordinates well with my Kitchen Aid refrigerator and dishwasher.

HOT! FAST! EVEN!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a cook. I have been ever since I fried an egg at age five in my mom's kitchen in Switzerland. I'm 71 now. This is the best stove I've ever worked on-better than any gas range. The oven is superb for baking and everything else, and the burners HOT! One point to note: This stove pulls in more electric power than my electrician thought it would. Check your circuit breakers when you install, you might need more capacity.

Nice stove with different size eyes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently I purchased this slide-in electric downdraft range to replace my broken 30 year old Jenn Air. This Kitchen Aid looks sleek and works well. I like the 4 different size eyes on the top that give choices for my different sized pots. The oven is large and the racks adjust to 5 different levels. The downdraft fan is not quite as strong as my former stove, but it gets the job done. The fan has a low and high setting. I would purchase this range again if I needed another.

My only complaint is the knobs are difficult to read with our overhead ceiling lights - they reflect off the metal on the knobs. Top mounted knobs might be an improvement.

I love the down-draft extractor
