Like how it performs, but..,
from St Cloud Mn
I like its performance, so far; very quiet. A bit concerned with its SS finish....has a definite smear-look to it. Even after wiping, just doesn't look right.

from Smithfield, Utah
So far the Kitchenaid dishwasher workers as advertised. Very happy with the drying feature. Dishes look good. My wife loves the upper utensil rack and adjustable shelves. DW is super quiet. Glad it has a status light.
I like this dishwasher
I bought this dishwasher to replace my old KitchenAid dishwasher, and am pleased. I will continue to be loyal to this brand. I am very happy with my purchase.
Was delivered a week ago, very quiet and cleans really well.
Is the Dishwasher Really ON ?
By Anna's Nana

Besides all the features that allow maximum use of space, the energy savings, the sparkling glasses and silverware, this appliance is so quiet I have to bend down and put my ear to it to make sure it is actually running. Delighted with my purchase.
The Quiet Is Deafening!
from Pittsburgh, Pa.
This is our second KitchenAid dishwasher. The first gave us 20+ years of faithful, dependable service. So there was no hesitation to purchase a KitchenAid again. The features are wonderful, the cleaning performance is outstanding. The only complaint we have is that we must keep checking to confirm that it is running. How inconvenient (sarcasm). The KitchenAid we replaced wasn't noisy by any measurement; but we could hear it running. Our new KitchenAid is absolutely quieter than whisper quiet . . . a bit of getting used too. Thanks, KitchenAid, for an excellent dishwasher. But, of course, it is a KitchenAid.
Rusted interior in less than a week.

I can attempt to update this later, if things improve. I had the machine professionally installed on 11/17/16. at the cost of $202.00 There is rust in interior of the dishwasher, with my not even using the product The rust appeared in under a week, the door that clicks at the hinge when closing, and there is a slight dent side of door on that hinge's side. But the rust is the real issue. I had heard that Kitchenaid appliances might have rust issues, and I guess I am grateful that they appeared well within the warranty period. I am guessing that the rust probably resulted from water generated by the installer's test run -- we had not even loaded the appliance, much less ran the appliance. Kitchenaid sent me a consumer survey at 5.39 AM today (12/1/16), asking if I was pleased with their response to my issues sent at 2.30 AM today (12/1/16). I think I contacted them on 11/23/16, and have been working with the retailer to get a replacement, but do not have the unit as of yet. I am writing this review, as I was sent and email at 9.17 AM today (12/1/16) to review the appliance...so ta da!...here is the review.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
