Comments about LG 23.8 Cu. Ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator - White:
This is my 2nd Lg refrigerator because I had to leave my first one in my condo when I sold. The new home did not have this refrig with the bottom freezer. It is a beautiful appliance and has all the features that I like.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Overall good features
As much as I love the size of the refrigerator, I am disappointed that it does not have a small deli-meat/cheese drawer. I DO LOVE THE VERY LARGE MEAT/VEGETABLE BINS. A small under the shelf drawer would be perfect. The shelves on the doors are narrow and do not accommodate regular size jars. I am disappointed that the shelves inside the fridge have fixed supports where you really cant adjust the shelves to accommodate tall bottles - thus forcing you to store the tall items (like wine bottles in the door-in-door feature - which is not a bad thing - but we have few tall bottles and don't really want them stored in the door-in-door. The shelves on the door are not adjustable and are a little too tall - thus making it difficult to put the juice bottle in and its a tight squeeze where the bottle top rubs along the bottom of the shelf directly above it.
fixed my demand

Missing temperature readout..dumb!
from New York
Just installed this refrigerator so I do not yet have much to go on. But one thing is missing. When you open the door there is a "Control Pad" that allows you to set the desired temperature for the refrigerator. This is fine and convenient (although I am not sure why I would change it from 37 degrees for refrig and 0 for the freezer.). But missing is a readout of the actual temperature. So how can someone know whether or not the freezer is at the required temperature..or the refrig? I cannot help but think that some marketing guru decided that they should save this "very valuable feature" for a higher priced model. Do I now have to go out and buy a freezer and refrig thermometer? The information is all there in the computer. The digital readout would cost a few penny to add if that. Poor going LG.
Love this fridge!
Hated my 2 year old Whirlpool top freezer as shelf space was not designed well. This LG is PERFECT and has space I'm not even using yet.
Best refrigerator that I have ever owned
from Chicago, IL, United States
I bought this refrigerator last month. I was not sure how I would like the bottom freezer but now I do not know how I did without one. I am now able to fit more food in the top part and the freezer that make it easier for me to keep enough food to satisfy my family. I am so glad that I made this purchase. I also really enjoy the e-mails with tips about using and caring for my refrigerator.

Great Unit. Very accessible to everything in the refrigerator without straining or bending to find it. Very large items fit in the door. Just the best functional unit we have ever had.
Love the look
I love how the refrigerator looks. Large drawer for lunchmeat is nice to see what is in the drawer without digging. Wonderful to have the alarm on the door to tell if is left open too long.

I love this refrigerator. Not only is it the perfect design but it's plenty large enough for all my food.

Love the bottom freezer. So much more ease of use. Top fridge has much more room than I anticipated. Love this item.
