Comments about LG 23.9 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator - Stainless Steel:
We love the Fridge, it is a great design having the freezer in the bottom and the 2 doors above open wide to access all the refrig. Tons of room!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Nice looking, very quiet

Fridge is nice to look at and extremely quiet but the low profile ice maker makes the worlds smallest ice cubes...the melt in seconds. Wish I would have known before I bought the fridge, it would have been a deal breaker.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Looks nice and modern
We bought this a month ago to replace old fridge. It looks pretty cool and pretty spacious inside.
Great fridge! Icemaker is garbage.

I've owned this fridge for 15 months and the icemaker has stopped working. Very disappointed in this product.

Good design but mechanical problems
from Washington, DC, United States
Door in door is great as is general layout of fridge but 2 months in and already having to call for repair services due to problems with door around ice machine. Purchased an LG suite of 4 appliances - 1 had to be completely replaced, 2 require repair. Would not recommend LG products.

I bought this as a part of a new kitchen suite for my new home. Very sleek and beautiful, could not be happier with the entire purchase. Only downfall is the water dispenser, as it is not very user friendly. 99.9% of my guests place the glass under the ice dispenser and press the water button only to have the water shoot out on their hand and on the floor. It is nothing like the typical water dispenser on every other fridge out there.
Nice features but tricky to use.

Bought this refrigerator about a month ago as part of a kitchen suite of appliances. We were initially drawn to the door in door feature that allows you to access drinks and other items without having to open the refrigerator door. Unit was easy to install and looks great. The closure mechanism on the door in door feature is a bit weak and requires a lot of pressure to latch. We have had the door alarm go off every day since we bought it to let us know the door was not completely closed.
Bad door and drawers design; spits water
from Portland, OR, United States
Would be a perfect refrigerator, if not some major door design issues: Doors will not close completely when gently pushed, they will bounce back, leaving a small gap. The door-in-door needs to be slammed really hard to get closed. The door sensors are useless and will not alert when doors are not closed completely. The right drawer cannot be open without opening both doors. The lower drawer will not come all the way out unless both doors are wide (more than 90 degrees) open. Also it literally spits water, so that it goes all over the cup and out...
excellent capacity and great looks!
