Comments about LG 24" Built-In Dishwasher - Stainless Steel:
We bought this dishwasher, along with other appliances, about 6 months ago. Our biggest complaint is that all the dishes come out soaked. Even when we choose the extra dry time setting, they still come out very wet. You will need to towel dry your dishes before you put them away.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I've had my new dishwasher for about month. We live in a house with an 'open concept' meaning our living room is separated from the kitchen by a half wall. Noise from the kitchen interferes with what we are doing in the living room. We can run this dishwasher any time of day and still carry on in the living room. Aside from doing a great job cleaning our dishes we are most pleased by how quiet it is. It certainly has been a welcome addition to our family!!!

I really like how quiet this dishwasher is! Also, the ability to change the position of the racks & tines to fit larger items in it is very helpful.
Easy to use

Easy to use. You can make adjustments to the racks to fit anything
It's not what I expected for an LG

I bought back in May, and I've noticed it doesn't dry my plates or cups. Everything comes out wet. I wanted to check if there was a way, but there is not. Another thing I don't like is that the normal cycle is over 2 hours. There is no way to turn off the signal beep, so if you start the dishwasher before you go to bed it will ring 2 hours later.
Super clean dishes!

I love LG products, but this dishwasher takes the cake! It's easy to load, with adjustable pegs and racks. Even the kids can do it and the dishes come clean! It's ridiculously quiet as well.

I was really disappointed that there is no indicator light that tells me my dishes have been washed. Also, the bottom rack jumps the tracks almost every time we use it. Last, glass positions are limited due to the crazy angles of the top rack.
Very Quiet, but...

The exterior and interior are all stainless and appear to be well made. The racks seem a but flimsy. I like the ability to fold down the tines, but the overall appearance inside seems to be like the toys my children play with, cheap plastic. I hope they hold up. The other issue I have is that it washes with cold water and detergent unless you select the Power Scrub cycle. It would also be nice if it remembered the settings from the last time I washed.
Changing to a do not buy
This machine does not dry dishes and I am thinking the reason is a lack of a frying element. I am now going to try the 2.25 hour extra dry cycle. That is a quarter of a work day to do what my 40 year old Kitchen Aid did in less than an hour. That Kitchen Aid was working well but my wife wanted a stainless steel washer. Plus the racks do not hold as many different sized dishes as did my old Kitchen Aid. I gave this a previous review of more stars but after doing several loads I am going to hit LG hard with a lower rating. The movable tines are the only thing that keeps me from giving a one star rating.

Works great - cycles seem a little long. Like that I can lock the panel when little kids are around.
