Just finished my basement and and I have been eyeing this TV for a while. It is the perfect piece for me. Great picture and great value as well!

Dead out of the box. Turned it on the first time. Could see the back lighting, but no picture ever came up. After a minute or so, could hear a child like voice say "surprise", then very brief music, and that was it. Tried several times. Same results on every try. Took it back and picked up another one. Second one worked.

I bought this tv in March '16 and we are happy with the picture. The sound for TV speakers are great, but we hooked up a sound bar to it and it sinked easily. I find that the webOS 3.0 is beautiful looking, easy, and just flows simply from app to app. One negative about the operating system, if you have an iPhone forget it. You can only use android with this TV and we are not happy about that. Can't view photos from iPhone, can't listen to music from iPhone/itunes, nothing. REALLY HOPE YOUR NEXT UPDATE YOU INCLUDE THE ABILITY TO USE IPHONE. Lastly, 4K, UHD, HDR you know the bells and whistles that sells the TV is almost useless. If you turn on HDR and TrueMotion you will get a very noticeable artifact (wavy, ripples, ghosting) around moving objects/persons. The reason for this annoyance is due to the fact 99% of the content offered by Cable/Dish is not 4K, UHD, HDR. In fact some channels are only at 720p, not even 1080P. Yeah you have rare movies/programming on Netflix and other streaming services that offer it, but extremely limited. So to sum it up, the TV looks beautiful and sounds great. But you won't be able to enjoy the main reason you bought the TV because cable/dish companies are just to far behind. And until LG updates it's webOS the iPhone is useless on this otherwise great TV.

Awesome with Xbox "S" 4K Game and UHD Video Player
from Oregon, United States
I bought the new Xbox S and needed a 4K TV, after shopping around I chose this model. I am glad I did. I'm finding that I used to go to the Xbox for Netflix/Hulu/AmazonVideo/etc. now due to the ease of interface, I'm using the TV directly for the same things - it works great. Love the "Magic Remote" well designed.
Better than expected
from Westfield, IN, United States
I bought this TV after considerable research comparing brands and the numerous models. Going in all I knew was that I wanted a 65". I had previously purchased an LG 43" 4k for my daughter and was pleased with the results. The new webOS3.0 is very fast and easy to use. The MagicRemote is amazing. But the picture quality thru the IPS panel is exceptional. Side viewing is nearly as good as sitting directly in front. The speakers also exceeded my expectations. Setup was a breeze. Highly recommended!!

TV conked out in 30 days!

I get blue, green, white, red, and black screens and it keeps rotating between these screens.

Awesome features and well-made unit!
from Xenia, OH, United States
I've had a month to get used to the TV, and my 1st impressions have not changed a bit. It's fantastic. Great screen and picture, and more features than you'll probably ever use. My only wish is that it had more HDMI inputs, but 3 seems to be the industry standard for a TV this size, so you can't knock it for that. This is my first LG product, but it will definitely not be my last.
