After 1 1/2 year dryer keeps stopping anytime. Nothing clogged, filter clean etc. Worst appliance ever for us.

Hard Working Dryer
from American SW
This dryer is very attractive -- especially next to its matching washer. I advise against buying the stand to raise the height, because together, the two machines make a very good folding surface. If the laundry is removed immediately after you hear the lovely tune which tells when the load is finished, the laundry is ready for folding with minimal ironing needed. I have found that the sensor sometimes declares things, which are still damp, to be dry, although the TOWELS setting always finishes drying bath towels.
Many great settings
from Winston, OR, USA
I bought this dryer along with an LG washer and am very pleased with both. I like it can sense when the load is dry and the many very useful settings for fabric type, low to high temperature, timed settings and more. The lint trap is very easy to access. I am completely happy with this dryer and would happily recommend it.
I feel like I bought a Lemon
Only 1 and a half years after purchasing, this dryer stopped heating! After many attempts to find out the problem, finally determined that it was the thermostat so we replaced it. also, the "smart diagnostics" was not helpful and couldn't figure out what was wrong so they just said it wasn't venting, which it was.so, then it worked great for 9 more months and did the same thing and replaced the thermostat and it was great. Now, 3 weeks later its at it again and I am over it and am never purchasing another LG product again!
Short lived love affair

Up until 3 weeks ago I loved this dryer ...Then something in the control board has malfunctioned and it only works sporadically.Dryer is only 3 years old(my last kenmore was15 years old and still working)had a service tech look at it and he thinks the panel is gone.Probably have to buy another dryer..It WON'T be a LG
Great dryer for the price
from Catoosa, OK, USA
I bought the set of the LG washer and dryer. The dryer is pretty good. The sensor for drying come sin handy so there are never any damp clothes in the dryer. The only downfall I have found in the last two years of owning this is towels. When drying towels they don't always get dry and have to be ran through a second time which is annoying at times. Even though the towels are an issue I still love this dryer and would recommend it to anyone.
Don't Waste Your Money
I've had this dryer for just under two years, just two. It worked fine overall - just took forever to dry towels. After under two years the electrical went completely dead and the repair is half the price of the dryer's value and not worth the money. Save your money on this, spend a little more and get a better quality product.
Clearly we got the bum product!
from Edmonton, AB, Canada
I can't help but notice that EVERYONE else loves their dryer! I'm glad! However, I hate it. It takes a minimum of 3 hours to dry even a small load of laundry. We had a service man out to test it and he assured us it was working properly, but it still takes 3-5 hours per load to dry. I can't imagine how this is ever considered Energy efficient!
