Fail with Verizon Fios

I tried two of these adapters with Verizon's Quantum Router and neither could find my network. You can't even force these things to work.

Installation of a wireless adapter to my laptop

I purchased this product and I am very pleased with it.
Quick and easy

I have an older Dell XPS series with Windows 10 on it. The Belkin wireless unit I had used for years quit working when I upgraded the operating system (along with the wireless keyboard and mouse.. but that's a long story). I just moved temporarily into an apartment while I look for a new house and didn't want a LAN cable draped across the room to the router so I decided to try this wireless adapter. Plugged it in, connected to the router and working in minutes. No muss, no fuss. My only complaint is the huge size. I put it into the back of my Dell since there are only 2 USB ports on the front. It now sticks out of the cabinet 2 inches so I can't close the desk drawer and I'm afraid that the smallest mistake will smash the device and break it off. No idea why it has to be this big. I have much smaller ones for my laptops.
Not sure what I bought

I installed the 2500 successfully, but I don't really know how to use the device or where to keep it connected. Right now it's installed in a USB in the mainframe. I thought when I installed it, I would automatically know it's working. Sorry I can'r give a better review.
I find this to be a very good value, all works as advertised. The only issue which is not the products fault is when the computer goes to sleep I have to unplug it and put it back in. I set the connection not to turn off but it does anyway. Would buy again
Seems to work well once I got it to work.

Out of the box it did not set up like the instruction said. I spent well over an hour on the phone with a technician getting it to work. I purchased it as my old Linksys router was supposedly not working right per our ISP, and got another Linksys thinking it would be just turn it on and go. I will say that the Tech support was good. I have no experience using anything other than a Linksys so I don't have anything to compare it to. Also my old Linksys router is still working and it turns out my ISP tech was wrong so I switched ISP's.
Linksys AE2500 N600 Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Adapt
from Mexico City, México
I was unable to install the driver of this USB adapter on Windows 8. It seems it is not planned for this op system.
