Good Solid Router
I have bought over 20 of these and installed them at clients all but 2 worked great and Linksys customer support promptly replaced the two that failed. I current use 3 of these in my own home 1 being the main router and the other 2 in bridge mode, they have been in service for 2 + years now. Easy to setup and install, as a point to note due power issues in my area all my equipment is on a UPS. I would highly recommend using this product.

Arizona Mountain Cabin
We have a 2600sqft residence and a detached 800sqft Casita on a small lot that is about 1.33 of an acre. I have been attempting to find something that would work for our guest, visitors, and ourselves. This router permitted us to pair three of the AC3000 Extenders which nows covers our entire lot and some of our neighbors. The V2 has flawlessly performed for us. This was a replacement for the V1 that replaced the AC1600.

Best Router
This is the best router I've ever owned! Fast, strong WiFi throughout the house and all 35 items stay connected.
I do question why the last Firmware update is from May, 2017 over a year ago.
I've had about 6 Linksys Routers over the past 20 years and this one works the best.

Amazing Router. Best I have ever used.
I have a setup with the Linksys ea9500 and (2) Linksys re9000 extenders setup as APs. I have full power coverage throughout my 3200 Sq ft home as well as my backyard and about ½ a block from my house.
I have heavy duties for my router so I needed something that could keep up. Here is a list of what is connected:

I have tested with 4 connected video streams, on PLEX, of 1080p video running with no signs of an issue. This is a PLEX server running on a Mac mini. I also use Kodi on my local network and it has no issues at all with (2) 1080p and (2) 4kHDR video streams running.
I can fully control the security cameras, the WeMo devices, SlingBox, PLEX, EcoBee 3, AT&T Digital Life, All of the NASes and connect to my network remotely with no issues.
The setup for someone with little or no knowledge of networking is ridiculously simple. Only took about 5 minutes to complete the initial setup. It also has a pile of extra features that can be employed if you know what you are doing or want to learn. I would like it if it had a few more of the more professional options available, so I could tweak the settings a bit more.
The add-on of the extenders was just as easy. It took about 5 minutes each. The extenders don’t have much to alter on them as they are functioning as Access Points.
So Far this router has completely lived up to my expectations.
One other thing I need to mention is the recovery of this router after a power outage. I was using another high-end router from Netgear and every time any kind of power outage occurred, it would take hours for it to recover all of the devices on the network. In several cases it would never recover completely which required me to erase all the settings and set it up again.
My EA9500 has experienced 2 power outages due to weather damage to power lines. Once the power came back on all the devices were up and working within 15 minutes (most were up and running in about 5 minutes).

What can I say besides AWESOME!!!
Wanted to replace Verizon router. Bought Netgear x10. Read too many bad reviews and returned before opening package. Toyed between this EA9500 and top rated Asus. Very happy with this router. Simple setup. Wifi and range in incredible. I have a 3 floor over 3k sq ft home. Works so well I eliminated (2) Netgear access points. The Linksys is in my basement.
For those inquiring on wall mountable. There are no holes on the bottom. However, I mounted on the wall by wrapping (3) nylon zip ties end to end around the unit. When in vertical position the zip ties are directly under the first antennas on each side. Use a good picture type hanger to mount it on. Voila art. Position the antennas up. Believe me the unit may be good size (10”x12”) but not that heavy. The zip ties are plenty strong. I used (2) 12” and (1) 8”. The black blends good on this unit. As I mentioned put a good hook.

This Thing is SICK!! (Nice)
I bought this 2 weeks ago, I was having streaming quality and buffering issue's, well no more, this Router is over the top for me (so far) and I can't say enough. Getting off of my old Netgear Router was the best thing I could do, the external antennas are a must!

A year and half and still going strong
This is an update to a previous review. This router has been so reliable and stable that I forget that I have it. The firmware updates are done automatically and I login every so often to check to see if it's done one but just for kicks. This morning I woke up to no internet. I looked at my modem and all the lights were the appropriate color. I thought, "oh no, don't tell me my Linksys conked out on me!" Luckily it wasn't the router, it was Charter Spectrum that had a regional issue. That got me to thinking how well this thing has performed for us. I never lose wifi signal in a 2000 sq ft. home. Never had to reboot the router because it was acting funny. I can access it from my phone or my computers. It handles our gaming and PC consoles with no hiccups. It performs a lot better than our ISP!
Like most of you we have tons of connected devices of all types and all perform reliably. If they don't, it's always the device (like cheap Sony Blu-Ray disc players) and they need to be unplugged and then plugged back in. I'm yet to find a wifi Blu-Ray player that is reliable with any brand router. But good, quality devices like my HP laser printer, our PC's, laptops, iPads, iPhones, gaming consoles, smart TV, etc. are flawless with this router.
I will be back in another year and half with another update.

i upgraded and absolutely love this router .no slowdown here, hands down one of the best router i have ever owned tri-band allows me and all of my guests to stream as fast as my isp will allow. I'm in heaven, I've owned many of your products but this one is tops if you don't own it i recommend you get it.keep up the good work.great improvement over the 1900

This Router is AWESOME
Ok I'd like to say that I use a Linksys router now is has been a very good router. But I upgraded to this router, my home uses a LOT of Wifi. We have 30 items running over Wifi most all of the time. We have an IP camera system with 7 cameras as well. We stream a lot of video content, We play games, plus always on social media and man can this router keep up!! It has been very worry free, the setup is so VERY easy. I am shocked at how good this router works!!! We had the AC1900 router from Linksys is has been a VERY good router, So we went on and got the AC5400 it was worth it! I would say if you need to upgrade your home router or just want something very worry free this is the one for you. It has an awesome Android and Apple app, that we can control the router from anywhere. It offers usb ports for safe and fast file sharing. 8 Gigabit ports for hardwired networking. The coverage of the wifi is far greater than i expected, I can move freely into my yard and out buildings with out loosing wifi. All in all Both routers from Linksys are great! I could not be happier!! I would say if your looking for an awesome router, this one takes the cake hands down.

Excellent Wireless Router
I purchased this Router a month ago. Set was easy, it connected right away with an Arris 6183 cable modem to Cox. The speeds are as advertised. Security setup was a snap. I was surprised as to how simple and easy the setup of this router was.

Very Happy
My Home Network has 18 devices. The 8 ports was a big plus, eliminating the need for a TP-Link hub.
Speed and traffic of course not an issue. Range and coverage in my home greeting improved. Now have wifi in my screen house.
Set up a breeze....I'm very happy so far. Throw in 3 year warranty and support...no brainer.

I purchased this router for the simultaneous data transmission and beamforming technology (MU-MIMO). My household now experiences smooth data flow across
all devices. I also upgraded to 100Mbps service. The EA9500 delivers HD video streaming where the EA9200 it replaced could not keep up with the many devices in constant use.

Powerful!!!
I love the router simply put. It was easy to install, the wireless app is useful to monitor and control my wifi while on the road. Not sure yet if it is a lot faster than my last router, but that could have to do with my ISP. Other than its large size I have no complaints!

Everything I wanted!
Upgraded today from a Linksys WRT 1900AC. I noticed that when I used the Ethernet port on the old modem, my download speeds were TWICE as fast (exactly) as when I connected via WIFI from about 40 feet away. Now with this new router I am getting identical upload speeds, whether by Ethernet or WIFI. Very satisfied. It was extraordinarily easy to set up as well.

gigabit fiber worthy
have had it for a few weeks with gigabit fiber connection. No more renting inferior router for the rest of my life. After going around and around w/ big reds tech support i finally just connected it w/ out there gateway and viola it worked great. If you have stand alone internet you do not need there router.

Fantastic speeds and Great coverage!
I purchased this router as an upgrade to my Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router AC1900. The AC1900 has been rock solid for going on two years. It was located in my home office on the second floor and provided good 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz performance to a Roku on the first floor. I had a range extender on the first floor to support the a Roku and Samsung TV in the basement. The AC5400 signal is such that the range extender is no longer needed. I've had the AC5400 for four weeks and have observed no dropped wireless connections and the unit is no warmer than the AC1900.

Easy Setup

Router Range

Great Features, Simple to Set Up and amazing dista
I did have one issue, when I received the first unit and hooked it up the unit would not lock on to my Internet feed, no way no how. After several hours of attempting rebooting and resetting processes I returned the unit and reordered. The second unit took me less than 45 minutes to completely set up and check the WiFi reach, it was amazing and has operated flawlessly for almost a month. I am getting a solid max signal at the farthest reaches of my two story home and now have a solid signal in all areas of our yard, from the pool to the mail box and beyond. I am now streaming videos for the first time from one end of my home to the other.
