Comments about magicJack K1103 VoIP USB Adapter Phone and Device:
I just switched from Basic Talk to Magic Jack thinking I would save a few bucks. It was a big mistake. MJ has a few perks but are missing some basics. 1. I ported my number from basic talk and a number of people told me when they call me it says my number it says disconnected. I tried contacting them 4 times via chat(the only way to reach them) each time they told me the same nonsense and eventually told me the tech team will contact me via email which so far they haven't done 2. No voice-mail light when you have a voice mail. 3. Caller ID only shows number not name (on incoming calls) 4. There is no caller ID on call waiting 5. The call quality is way inferior than Basic Talk (much lower and not nearly as clear) Bottom Line its worth the few extra bucks for Basic Talk for there quality. p.s. I had Basic Talk for a year and half and was very happy just thought Id save a few bucks but big mistake!
