Comments about Maytag 26.75" Double Electric Wall Oven - Stainless Steel:
Both are spacious enough for multiple rack cooking- especially during holiday cooking time! Panel displays and instructions are very clear and delayed cooking and timers are very intuitive. Doesn't have a bunch of features that you never use that get in the way of having a basic very good oven.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Replaced 50 year old Frigidaire Oven
from Oyster Creek,Tx.
Had looked for oven to replace my old oven for several years. Everyone told me i would have to replace my cabinets because no one made one to fit that size. This oven went right in the same place and fit perfectly. The oven is a little smaller but works fine.
This oven is the greatest

I bought this double oven about four months ago and I am VERY please with the oven; I would recommend anyone to buy a Maytag product.
Hate lower over
By Stupid Oven
from Houston, TX
This oven came with the house when we bought it in July 2014. We had not had any issues until the top oven decided to not heat above 75 degrees. A repairman came out and said the controls went out, and the panel needs to be replaced. We still have the lower oven, because that is control by a manual dial, instead of just the pretty digital controls like the top oven. The lower oven only has a heating element on the bottom part of the oven, which causes things to burn easily. I usually make the temperature cooler, and raise the rack, but it still burns. I cannot WAIT to have the top oven fix again. I don't understand why there is a heating element only on the bottom of the oven and not on both sides. Maybe it's built that way for a specific purpose, but I haven't found it yet.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Good value and flexibility
from Arvada, CO
I bought this for a rental house and thought it was a good value. Even though it is only 24", it has plenty of space inside. The bottom is manual and the top is digital control. It is energy efficient because you only use as much oven space as you need, the smaller bottom, the bigger top oven or both when you have company. I attracted potential renters when they saw the kitchen picture with the double oven.

Top Oven Light Bulb is the worst
The light bulb in the top oven went out within six months. Not covered under warranty. We cannot get the bulb out to change it. When I asked Maytag how to get it out, they said to heat up oven, turn off breaker, use soapy water around bulb and it should come out. This doesn't work. What a horrible plan for a light bulb. And the bulb in the bottom oven just screws right out and changes like any other light bulb. But not the top oven. I am going to have to have an appliance repair person come over to try to change it.

The upper oven did not work, the clock did not work, the self cleaning did not work, all in a BRAND NEW OVEN just installed.Maytag Service man was very nice and have ordered another circuit board, which after one month after installing the lemon oven has not arrived.
