LOVE these new ovens!
from Lakewood, CO
Love these new ovens! So much bigger inside than my old 27" ovens. They cook very evenly and I love the big windows on them. I was a bit worried when doing my research on them the major complaint from others was how loud the fans were and how long they stayed on after the ovens were turned off. I've found that if you leave the door open a little the cooling process is much quicker so the fans don't bother me at all.

Bought November 2015. Works great, doesn't heat up the house, doesn't make a lot of fan noise. Really big. I wanted a double gas oven but had to "settle" for electric. Works just as well!
Maytag Double Oven
from Abernathy, TX
I bought this double oven (with convection) about 2 months ago. I never had a double oven so I love the convenience of two ovens. These 27-inch ovens have plenty of room inside. The stainless steel outside of the ovens are very pretty. The only downside is the noisy fans that blow the entire time the ovens are in use and until they cool down. From what I have read, all brands have noisy fans. If Maytag can make a quiet dishwasher, why can't they make quiet oven fans?

Looks Good, But Loud
from Waco, TX
We had this oven installed this week. While it cooks very well, the fan is far too loud and runs for quite a while after turning the oven off. There should be a way to either turn the fan off or turn in down.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
So easy to use - even for me!

I love my new oven, even to the point of using it more than I ever thought! The convection concept scared me but Maytag has made it so easy! First meal, a fabulous turkey, the usual day to day meals.
Great space, a little loud
from San Jose, CA
Love how big the inside is. Great cooking - but seems to run a little hot. It is loud though. And not just when using the convection. It has a very loud fan. To make the fan turn off after cooking leave the door ajar - it cools quickly.
What's with the continuous fan ( not convection fan)?

I've had the product a couple of weeks. I've used it and been satisfied with the convection oven on top and the baking oven on the bottom. One thing I'm dissatisfied with is this annoying fan that continues to run after the oven is off. I counted 50 minutes before it shut off one time and another time 15 minutes. Why does this loud fan continuously run when the oven has been turned off?
Great appliance, affordable price

Looks are streamline, modern. Performance is great. Love the pull out rack for large items. Love the large windows. Am still learning all the features but so far great!
Not satisfied with the oven
By Jo the Pet Lover

Due to the existing cut-out dimensions, I went with this double oven that fits perfectly. The main complaints are that it takes too long for the oven to cool down after each use (about 30 minutes for 350F setting for 1 oven, and over 1 hour if both ovens are used concurrently). I am bothered by the noise and the heat emitted by the oven during the cooling process, and find it energy inefficient. I contacted Maytag customer service twice, only to be advised that this is how the oven is designed, there is no way to control or turn off the cooling fan, and it is not due to product defects. I think the product design should consider using a quieter and more powerful cooling fan.
