Comments about Maytag 30" Free Standing Gas Range - Stainless Steel:
Everything works great, but the control buttons are extremely hard and require a lot of pressure. My wife and I have a hard time setting temp. and times. Need to be corrected in my opinion. Somebody older would really struggle with them.

Very nice looking. Just used the upper oven today and liked the fact that I did't have to heat up the larger oven.

enjoying the 5 burners and the two ovens. Life is easier nowDon't like how the clock is set up. it goes into military time and if you don't understand or can't read it,how do you know the time. I can't get it back to regular time

I bought this unit in 2011, it has been leaking on & off since 2014. It finally got bad enough that I have had the repair company out 3 times. The last time they replaced all the valves & no it leaks worse than ever. I had Maytag buy the unit back. Looking for a replacement that ISN"T Maytag.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Burner controls seize

naively, with the Maytag promise of reliability. The left surface burner control seized a few months into use and now the second burner control valve has failed, with the promise of more going the same route soon. I am told I will have to pay the considerable labour costs to replace the faulty burner.
