Comments about Maytag 31" Electric Cooktop - Black:

It was as if I was the first person to ever order anything online. Delivery took almost three weeks, after which I was told after inquiring that the item was in stock and when did I want it delivered? I told them I wanted it delivered right away but then was told I needed to make an appointment date. I said: "How about tomorrow?" The girl told me that she didn't have the appointment book and then I said: "Well, call me back tomorrow when you have the appointment book". When she called back the next day, we made the appointment for the following day. I asked if she could give me some idea when the delivery person would be there so I wouldn't have to wait around all day. She said she could not do that right now but I should call back after 9pm on the evening before so I could get a better idea of when they would be there. She was somehow under the impression that I wanted this installed, which I did not. I only wanted delivery. I called after 9pm and was told that I needed a "Quick Check" number in order to find out when the delivery man was going to come the next day. Well, needless to say, I did not have a "Quick Check" number and still have no idea what they were talking about. Since it was a recording, there was nothing else I could do. So the next day I just waited and waited. Naturally the delivery person showed up in a PC Richard truck at 5pm in the evening. I have had many things delivered after ordering them online and never had to actually be there when the item was delivered. This was nothing special or even valuable about my order. I was never given the option to pick it up at the store which would have been a much better idea in retrospect. Again, I must have been the first person in the world to order anything online from PC Richard.
