Same problem with all the rest....

Comments about Maytag 4.8 Cu. Ft. Top Loading Washer - White:
We bought this approximately two years ago and are definitely not pleased with our investment. Your clothes come out tied in a ball and the load is always unbalanced. We have had several repair visits because the machine leaks and they cannot tell us where it leaks or how to fix it. We have had seven service calls for this issue and are finally calling it quits and looking for something more dependable.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is the biggest piece of junk washer ever! This washer does not wash or rinse your clothes. You need to put it through an extra wash an rinse cycle to clean clothes. May tag will not stand behind this product and will tell you that you are not using the proper LE soup, or using too much soap. I have tried everything and this is a piece of junk washer.
Leaking water after two years
By John L

I bought this washer two years ago and water start leaking from the bottom of the washer. Warranty is no longer covered. Minimum cost is $80+ initial trip and $120+ for parts.Disappointed I will have to spend $200+ to repair a two year washer.I went ahead to buy a new washer from another brand for $500.

Worst appliance purchase I have made in my entire life.
I am not one to write reviews but I feel so strongly against this washer that I have no choice. To start: since the very first wash, this thing has never fully "washed" any of my clothes. I use HE detergent (Tide) and there are still streaks all over my clothes - even white streaks that weren't there prior to washing my clothes. Prior to this washer, I always washed my clothes on a delicate or gentle cycle. It always got the job done. But because this is a water saving washer, you can't wash anything on any level other than "bulky." The bulky setting is the only setting that gives enough water to actually wash the clothes. And even still it's barely enough. Why do you think clothes are coming out near dry for everyone when they wash them? It's not the spin setting (which I'll get to in a minute) it is because the water was never there in the first place. Because there is no agitator in this washer, every article that enters this washer WILL get horribly tangled, to the point of leaving wrinkles in the clothes. And, because everything gets tangled, it all gets pushed to one side. What does that mean?It means with 15 minutes left of the cycle, it stops and says "UL" as in uneven load. So, you have to untangle the clothes, arrange them in the washer, and then spin them again. Remember! This is after you've already ruined your clothes by having to constantly wash them on a more violent "bulky" cycle. But, what happens if you don't make it in time and leave the clothes for a bit too long with the error code "UL" showing? You run into my FINAL problem that I had today. All of the colors bled from my clothes and were sitting next to a pool of red water. This is the final straw. I absolutely hate this washer with every fiber of my being and I feel bad even considering selling it to some poor soul... Now I have to pay more money to buy a washer that works. If I can do one thing right for humanity: it would be writing this review so hopefully this convinces one person to never buy this trash washer, EVER. Don't even take it if it's free.

Not happy with this machine
By nigels mom
I purchased this machine 2 years ago. It does not fill with enough water to clean or rinse the clothes. I have to run them through the rinse again to get the soap out. I wish there was a water level control for me to adjust the levels. I love the matching dryer. I would not recommend this machine.

When I first got these delivered, I was scrambling around the house trying to find things to wash. All of the settings are so useful, I love that there is a setting for towels and sheets so that the machine does not get off balance. It is easy to maintain and use, the integrated display gives a nice high tech touch to your laundry room. The drum is huge!! I can fit 2 loads where in my old one I could only fit one.

I bought this because I can wash a comforter in it. The size is great. I like the different wash options. My clothes do come out more wrinkled after wash cycle and I don't dry most of my shirts. I did notice a dirt stain still on my pants after they had been washed so I am concerned that maybe my clothes aren't getting as clean. I did rewash my pants and the stain was gone. I will put down that I will recommend to a friend but I am undecided at this time.
