Why don't we show the price? As a retailer, we set our own prices independently, but some manufacturers restrict how we may communicate those prices. In some cases the manufacturer does not allow us to show you our price until you take further action. Don't worry; you'll be able to see the price in checkout before you decide to buy it.

I've had this dryer for about a month now. For the most part its good. Clothes are still damp at the end of most settings except when I set the timer myself.
smaller than the old dryer

I didn't notice that the drum was smaller than the dryer it replaced but was still a satisfactory size. It took a while before I had it figured out but it is doing a good job now.

This dryer takes an incredible amount of time to dry laundry. I have dry clothing on Heavy Duty setting in order to get clothes dry in an efficient amount of time. The dryer does not remember the previous settings. It requires you to reset it every time.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not the quality I expected

Maytag and the appliance store need to get their act together. We purchased the dryer for our salon (commercial use). The appliance store did not explain that this would void the manufacturer's warranty even thought the dryer was listed as "commercial grade". Within 24 hours of installation it was obvious the dryer was not functioning. It was not producing heat on the Normal Cycle. Called Maytag, and they would not honor their warranty. Called the store, and they automatically routed calls to Maytag. Called the manager of the store, they offered to replace the item. Maytag refused to replace the item until they had a chance to service it (at our expense). After the store escalated the issue with Maytag, Maytag agreed to comp a one-time service visit. The technician arrived, determine a relay switch was malfunctioning and ordered a replacement board. The replacement board was received and found to be defective. A new board has been ordered and it will be another week before the dryer can be fixed. The run-around and the defective products have significantly lowered my impression of Maytag. It's a crime that they pretty much monopolize the appliance industry.
I find it very nice to do laundry. It makes it not so much of a chore.
Great dryer I have ever had.
