Comments about Microsoft Elite Wireless Controller for Xbox One:
Don't buy this controller, please. I got one in March, and it was broken by July. I set it down on my SOFT BED by dropping it from WAIST HIEGHT onto my bed, so I only dropped it about ONE FOOT onto a SOFT SURFACE. When I picked it up, the right thumbstick didn't rotate correctly; it felt like it was stuck on something internally. Side note: I have done MUCH WORSE things with my normal Xbox controller, and it's perfectly fine. For a controller that's supposed to be much more durable, I was very disappointed.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

SAVE YOUR MONEY - These are terrible quality
So when I got my controller, I really liked it. It has a nice weight, ceramic rings around the control sticks for smooth movement, etc. That said, after about 6 months of use, the left control stick started to register movement when I wasn't touching it. Think of playing a first person shooter, and watching your character walk slowly off a cliff and die. That's what started happening. The warranty is a mere 90 days...and there are no options for repair. So, if you're willing to buy two of these a year, this is for you. Otherwise, stick with the controllers that come with the console. They hold up better than the Elite controller.

Not worth it.
You would expect that elite controller would be better built than the standard version. It ain't. Right bumper falls out. And, I get left stick drift. What a piece of junk. I'll buy the cheaper one or get a third party one.
Great controller...Horrible Warranty
The Elite controller is well worth the price until you start having drifting issues. The standard warranty (90 days?) is horrible for the price you pay for the controller. Do yourself a favor and buy an extended warranty.

not worth the money
controller develop a drift on it no help from xbox didn't even last a year, im not even a hard core gamer just casual save your money
I bought this controller the day it released. It lasted me until about a month ago when it randomly shorted out while charging. Now it doesn't work at all. Never used the add on paddles just the d-pad. Decent buy, not worth the money though.

I thought I was paying for quality
But I am sadly disappointed. The trigger stops are cool but they failed after about 4 months. 90 warranty is poor.

Wore out quickly. No support. Short warranty
By Lou Zher
This controller was spectacular. For all of 4 months, until the thumbstick drift issue popped up. Now it's useless for me. You pay a premium price for a product that breaks shortly after the lousy 90-day warranty. Think Support can do something for you? Think again. The choices presented to me: Buy a new one or find a 3rd-party service to fix it.
for the price is junk
