Comments about Microsoft Surface Type Cover for Surface 3 Tablets - Bright Red:
After about 9 months of use, the letter U does not type unless I pound on my keyboard. This is not good considering I use this computer for work and present to clients on a big screen. They chuckle from my pounding.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have 2 of these and I wish they would come out with a cover that has numbers on the right instead of the top

This is the 3rd cover and it arrived defective. It will only permit the standard flat position. Bedsides three covers, I had had 4 Surface Device replacements and three docking stations. I was forced to pay for the cover because the warranty expired though the device is still covered. I also have had to deal with serious data losses and duplications with OneDrive. I have been a staunch supporter of Surface, but I think this is the proverbial straw. I am forced to repeat this as no one listens.

I originally bout the surface3 but didn't understand that cover was the keyboard, so I had to order seperately. Glad I have it now. Works good. Too bad website didn't call it keyboard/cover instead of just cover.
Nice feel! Connects seemlessly!
Solid keyboard. I love the way it connects to the Surface with the magnet connector.
Type cover came apart by the seam
I am a really disappointed by this product. It's an expensive and necessary accessory for the Surface 3 and it came apart only a couple of month after I bought it. I tried to fix it, but its still breaking off. Also the charger now makes problems, the wire broke now right next to the plug.
This keyboard is pretty solid and easy to use. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy in the least. Couldn't ask for a better keyboard.
Good key travel for two finger typing
By Backwoods Technologist
The cover firmly attaches to the Surface with a satisfying click just as the ads show. This keyboard is much larger and has better key travel than the one for my iPad Mini 2. It's far and away better than on-screen character entry. This keyboard does not flex with two finger data entry. The track pad is useful but I find myself using the touch screen. Unfortunately, I also try touch screen entry on non-touchscreen devices when switching between the Surface and those others. I plan to use a Bluetooth mouse at some point. I wish a power type cover for the Surface 3 were available for added battery life. Overall, the keys give good travel, are large, and seem sturdy. Recommended.

the touchpad was small and all of themseem to have a gap between the actual keyboard and the touchpad. Its very annoying
