Comments about Monster Cable 10-Outlet Power Center with Stage 4 Clean Power:
it does what it is supposed to, I bought this back in 2002 and I have never had any problems with it, well worth the investment for your equipment. I highly recommend it.

GREAT SYSTEM PROTECTOR
from OLD RED DOG CA
About Me Audiophile, Movie Enthusiast, Tech Savvy
IVE BEEN USING THIS UNIT TO PROTECT MY HIGH END AUDIO EQUIPMENT FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS. I ALSO HAVE THE MORE EXPENSIVE 7000 MODEL AND CANT HEAR ANY DIFFERENCE. ITS NICE TO SEE THE VOLTAGE FROM AFAR AND KNOW HOW THE POWER GRID IS DOING. ONCE THE POWER COMPANYS POWER WENT OUT AND THEN CAME ON AT AROUND 89-91 VOLTS. I CALLED THEM AND THEY SHUT IT OFF AND FIXED IT. IT WAS NICE TO KNOW WHAT THE POWER WAS. IT CLEANS UP THE SOUND OF DIRTY HUMS AND NOISES.

Very good product to be used in the video stage of an aswesome HT Set-up.Worth ponting up that this is not a balanced power product, it is a surge protector and a very good AC noise cleaner/reducer.I use to feed LED 60" Samsung Series 7 screen, network switch, Velodyne amazing 18" subwoofer; center channel dedicated monoblock amp, Schumann resonance generator, CATV Box and a couple other peripherals.I had installed a dedicated 20 Amp line for this one outlet so it would be separate from the rest of the audio gear that sits about 15 Ft away on a separate 20 Amp dedicated line.It does a fantastic job at cleaning power and protecting the expensive gear. Not transparent enough for (high End) audio only purpose but it will filter high frequency noise for video and digital gear very nicely. It also keeps electrical generated noise from different components ( LED's and Switching power supplies are notorious for generating noise) from each other,It brings a better more balanced picture, colors contrasts and textures into the HD video part.It does the job in spades.I would abolutely recommend this product without reservation for the video and data part of a big to medium HT setup. If you have a receiver and a bluray this is perfect for you; if you have a high end Suround Processor of the likes of teh Classé, Krell, Meridian, Etc. and good amps, leave this Monster for the video only part as it works very nicely,I use Running Springs Audio for the Audio only and amplifiers section but must confess that the effect on the video from this one Monster piece of understated gear is simply stunning.HD local CATV looks amazing, all 1080p 24fps and 1080p/60 took on a new dimension, everything more realistic and believable.Small dark details took on a better contrast also.there is a lot more to see from movies, games and boradcast program material by virtue of the cleaner AC power that provides this equipment. The fact that it also protects from spikes and surges where we live is a great bonus.Absloutely recommended.I use 2 of these at home one in my main rig HT the other one in my second system for the bedroom where it also does a great job.I hope this helps a little bit.Enjoy your hobbies!

hts 5100 mkii for the best

About Me Technically Challenged
I've had this unit for nine or ten years, in three different houses, with three different home theater component set ups. It has provided clean Power and protection against energy surges, protecting thousands of dollars of home theater equipment reliably for nine to ten years. Pieces of our home theater have come and gone, only our Signature Series HTS 5100 has remained the same. In a world where technology becomes obsolete in a year to eighteen months, we are sure that the reason we have equipment working long beyond it's "life" is because we use this Monster Power product.

I have had this device now for about 1 year. I must say I was really surprised by the solid feel of the product and really like looks of the unit more than comparable competitors models. The Blue LED and improved power cable are nice perks and in my opinion worth the extra dime over the reference model. I must say I have had some pretty nasty power events, yet I still have this nice fuzzy feeling and somehow know all my devices will power on just fine afterwards. In this regard, it has saved my devices many times over.I would also like to note that the noise floor is incredibly low with this model in my environment. I can set my receiver at reference level with absolutely no hiss or noise at all. This is an amazing experience when transitioning from an incredibly loud action scene to complete silence at the beginning of a dialogue.

I see that there are a few reviewers who have problems with this power conditioner and the only reason I wanted to write a review was because I love this power conditioner and have never had a single problem with it. I recommend it to anyone who wants a good conditioner for a very reasonable price.

True Believer in Monster HTS5100 MKII
from Des Moines Iowa
Over the weekend ligthing that hit the light pole and sent a surge down the power line. While the blueish color and sound of the surge was neat, I would honestly have to say that some of my electronic items did not like it. The tv, phone and other small items that where protected by a surge protocter (not a monster brand) have died. But I honestly have to say Thank Goodness we had our other items in the livingroom protocting our main electronic because they got hit with a surge and are still working today. So the $1,000.00 I need to replace in the bedroom will be protected by monster product.

Well worth the investment

Fact is, I just purchased an HTS 3600 MK II. The price was right for me and immediaterly after everything was connected, I was able to hear the difference. I used the latest recording of Richard Markson's Bach Cello Suites. If your high end audio system can handle that, it should handle just about anything. The results: no more background noise. Mids were clear and crisp, a pure pleasure. Same with the bass notes. Silence between bars were not plagued by noise. So much more details and finesse. Finally I was able to concentrate on the music. Conducted another test with Beethoven 5th piano concerto. Same thing. Finished the test with Holy Cole and Diana Krall. Wow. I can only attributes these improvements to the Monster Unit.
