Works good.
I bought this to replace a the same model router that had been used over 5 years with no issues. Setup was fairly easy with the phone app. The new router is noticeably faster than the old one.

Reliable mid-range router
This router comfortably handles mid-range internet plans under ~800-900 Mbps. Has worked reliably for me for five years! With this router, I have not needed to use a wifi extender, even for a room several walls and ~50 feet away.

Works exactly as expected

Happy with my NETGEAR
My Netgear provides great service inside and outside my house when I’m out in the back yard watching my kids play it also comes in handy when you have kids that has to do school work or a project for school online it isn’t like most internet boxes lose connection every few seconds!

Router works well
Bought it to do its regular task and from the start noticed it had several useful features like parental control, USB backup, remote management and others. Due to a change in provider, had to change it form router to AP and it has been working great.
The smart connect option is not available for this model, which is a shame, but does not affect the way it works nor the other functions.

Needed help with getting a new email set up
We had an IT person who up and left us, but he was the email on the account for all updates etc. I needed help removing his and adding mine and they went above and beyond to help me.

I love my new NETGEAR AC1200 Smart Wi-Fi Route (R6220). It has been doing a splendid job so far since it was installed. It takes care of two printers, two computers, my T.V. and a Google nest.
