This Toothbrush is Awesome!

I have been using this brush for about a month and I still love it! Coming from a Spinbrush, I was concerned about spending so much money on a toothbrush, but I then realized it's a great investment in your dental health, especially if you don't want an expensive bill from your dentist! Pros: 1) Well-designed 2) Easy to see indicator lights 3) Charging connector on handle is well-insulated 4) Consistent power from full-charge to low battery warning indicator 5) Ergonomic handle with rubber insert is extremely comfortable 6) Cross-action brush head cleans extremely well between teeth 7) Teeth feel clean and polished after brushing 8) Small brush head makes it easy to access molars 9) Can also be used for tongue cleaning, but you will need to put in a little effort! Cons: 1) Takes over 20 hours to charge! This is an inconvenience since I brush my teeth 2x a day and can't keep the charger in the bathroom. I have to take it off the charger, brush my teeth and then remember to place it back on the charger. 2) A full-charge will last about 28 minutes. Since I spend about 6 minutes a day, I end up having to charge it every 4 1/2 days. 3) No travel case included.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Dentist approved is right!
I have had this product for 2 or 3 years now. My husband forced me to start using an electric toothbrush. The cost kept me from even considering it. I have always had bad dentist appointments. Many cavities over the years. I will be honest, I do not have the best dental care routine. I brush once a day and no flossing. Ever since I have used this brush with the heads that have a little rubber in the center.....every dental person that looks in my mouth during my appointments are totally impressed and says keep up the great work!!! I have never liked going to the dentist, but now......I don't mind at all. It is truly an amazing product! I recommend it to as many people as I can.

recommend by dentist for pressure sensor. press as hard as you like, nothing changes. if you're looking for a pressure sensor, look elsewhere.

I purchased the Oral B 3000 a 60 days ago. After 6 uses it stoped holding a charge. The 3000 could not be charged either. I called Oral B and the CSR was rude unprofessional, and inappropriate. I was ordered, yes ordered, to mail my toothbrush to an Oral B repair location at my expense. I explained that my toothbrush was under warranty and I should not have to pay any shipping for this. I was asked: "do you want the toothbrush fixed or not?" I was furious at the lack of customer service. Now I have a non-working toothbrush with no resource for repair nor replacement. As a representative of Oral b, this CSR does Oral b a grave disservice. I completed the post Oral b contact survey over a week ago and have yet to receive any reply. Oral b should replace my 3000 at no charge. Further, Oral b should trian their CSR's to actually be of service. It is reasonable for Oral b to acknowledge this communication. I hope so. I would like resolve this unfortunate situation ASAP.

I have been using Oral B for many years and am currently on my 3rd one (due to battery not charging any longer). After my 2nd Oral B toothbrush died, I decided to try the "other" brand for something different. After starting to use it, I didn't feel like my teeth were getting as clean. My next dental cleaning appointment confirmed my suspicions. I experienced the worst and longest cleaning I have ever had. My hygienist noticed something was different as well and commented that there was a lot more buildup and gum irritation than usual. After that appointment I marched straight to the store and purchased a new Oral B. Upon using, my teeth immediately started to feel and look cleaner. I just had my 6 month cleaning and this appointment went much smoother and shorter, with considerably less buildup, better gum health and less irritation. My hygienist was amazed and definitely noticed the difference (for the better). I will never again use anything else but my Oral B.
It brushes extremely well but......

I so want to give a 5 star rating for this product but I can't. Why? Not for the brushing detail or for its timer. The brush does a great job in fulling those things. My major issue is that according to the package, the brush charge is suppose to last for a month and it barely last for a week. What's up with that? Did I that happen to purchase a defective model? Anyway until then, I can't give it 5 stars which is too bad because it does everything else so well.

When I first got this toothbrush, I didn't have words. The first time the pressure sensor went off, it surprised me. I had no idea what it did, by the way. Have you ever had that clean feeling after a dentist cleaning? Well, imagine that every single day! The Bluetooth feature is wonderful. If I'm about to be late to work and forget to brush my teeth, I can view my brushing habits to help me remember to brush. In conclusion, this toothbrush is so amazing. Buy One!! I bet you will be blown away.

I recently switched my house to the Oral-B Battery Powered Toothbrushes and the dentist today noted my boys' (5- and 6-yr-olds) teeth were much cleaner than last time! I have two requests, though... I really need one in Orange! In a house with more than two boys or two girls, the color choices are limited. Are there plans in expanding the colors? Secondly, I noticed other people looking for "covers"... regardless of packaging, I'd love to see holders or covers for them as standard covers just aren't adequate.
Battery died after 3 weeks
Battery died after only 3 weeks of use. Tried to change the battery but had to bend the contact back, and can't bend it back to make it work again. Turns out, this has been happening and Oral B has been getting this feedback at least as far back as 2010, and still hasn't fixed the design. Another review noted the packaging suggested throwing the toothbrush away and buying a new one when the battery died. What a waste of money, and absolutely zero environmental consideration. Which is really too bad, I like the toothbrush but will never buy another one.
