Great toaster oven for the price
from Oxford, IN, United States
Comments about Oster 4 Slice Toaster Oven:
this has all of the major features that toaster oven for price. The two things that I wish it featured were a bigger crumb tray that is easier to access without spilling the crumbs as you're trying to take it out of the toaster oven and I also wish that like other toaster oven, this one had the small hooks that Connect the toaster oven door to the metal grate so that when you open the door it pulls out the food that you're baking or toasting to make it easier to get the food out. Other than those two things I think this toaster oven is perfect and I would highly recommend. I received this item to sample for free.

Review for toaster oven
from Columbus, MS, United States
I love the color of the toaster oven because it blends in with the color of my other kitchen appliances. The toaster oven is very light in weight and easy to use. It baked my cookies just the way I like and cooked my food the way I want it to be cooked. This is the perfect appliance for me to use without turning my oven on. I received this product as a sample and I am glad to be able to leave this review on it.
Nice small 'snack size' oven
By T Norwood
from Mississippi, United States
I recieved this oven as a sample to test out. I quite enjoyed it. It really does mean 'compact'. I could fit 4 slices on the grate, but only 2 on the pan. To me, that was the only downfall. Otherwise, this little oven can really crisp up a chicken patty or waffles. Delicious! I would recommend this for a single person or two in a small space needing smaller meals. It is definitely not for larger cooking. Overall, a good product.
A toast for a toaster oven!

This toaster oven has turned out to be more useful than I expected. It's great for things like toasted tuna sandwiches, buttered toast, etc. I received this oven as a sample product to review... and I'm glad I did!

I love my toaster oven. I use it often as an alternative to frying foods. I'm going to purchase a toaster for my mom this week.
Does the Job !
from Murrieta, CA, United States
I received this as a sample to try. It is so cute ...love the retro look . It is small enough to sit on the countertop everyday and looks perfect in my kitchen . It will be nice to use during the hot summers months in So Cal. It does make a ticking sound but so does my timer. It does the job and I like it.
Very nice mid-level toaster oven.
from Brainerd, MN, United States
I think this toaster oven is a fairly good quality appliance for a mid-level toaster oven. The oven is black with silver accents with a glass door, and it came with one rack and a small metal cooking pan. I gave it a total of 4 stars instead of 5, because it didn't toast evenly on the bottom of the toast and toasted perfectly on top of the toast I made. I used 2 slices of bread, and it was the same for both pieces. So, toasting was ok, but not as perfect as I'd like it to be. Then, at another time, I tried baking something in the toaster oven. I took out some pre-made home made cookie dough from my freezer, and I baked 3 chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Those turned out perfect, and were cooked very evenly. I was pleased! So, I'd use this toaster oven for both making toast or baking things in it, since it did both well. However, I do feel that it does a better job at baking things in it. There is one other thing I noticed when I made something in the toaster oven, and that was that the glass on the door fogged up, and I have not seen a toaster oven do that before. It did this whenever I toasted or cooked anything in the oven. That was a bit strange to see, but I do think that this is negligible, since it didn't seem to affect my food and the oven itself while it was cooking anything I made. It is a useful appliance that fits well in a smaller kitchen or other space. The one thing I would like to be made better in terms of the oven itself, is the top temperature button. When you turn it to the "no temperature" dot at the top, it doesn't match up exactly, making one think the toaster oven may not be quite turned off all the way. Otherwise, it is a very nice little toaster oven for the lower range of toaster ovens and I would recommend it to someone who needs a smaller toaster oven. Disclaimer: I received this toaster oven as a sample in exchange for an honest review.
Quick and Easy
from cincinnati OH
The Oster 4 Slice Toaster Oven gets the job done. It's easy to use and heats up quickly. I think it's a great thing to have for warming up leftovers since we don't use a microwave in our home. The downside, would be that its flimsy and gets very hot. I don't know if this toaster oven will stand the test of time, but definitely does its job for the price!
from Minneapolis, MN, United States
This toaster oven is a basic model that is perfect for college students or young people just setting up house keeping. great for toasting bread to baking pillsbury cinnamon rolls to baking a couple cookies from dough. It does the job. Doesn't take up a lot of counter space. The draw backs are the plastic trim and knobs. Don't know when it reaches the set temperature because it doesn't buzz when it does. Received this product as a sample to review.
Great Kitchen Appliance
from Elkton, MD, United States
The Oster 4 slice toaster oven is a great little appliance for toasting a sandwich, baking a few cookies, cooking single serve pizzas, and other popular snackitizers. The 4 slice title is a bit misleading, about 3 slices of sandwich bread fit comfortably. It is great for a single person, or college student in a dorm, but I would not count on it to cook dinner for 3 or 4 people. For afternoon, or after school snacks, I would be really careful who you let use the oven, the exterior gets really hot, so care must be taken not to leave anything on top, or nearby, and to not accidentally touch the glass door. The dials and settings take some trial and error, the timer is loud, but sounds like one of those old fashioned white dial timers. Baking is even and true to temperature, however it has taken twice as long to bake items than the package indicates. Disclaimer: I received this product as a sample to review.
