Love the large capacity
from Ocoee, FL, United States
I bought this oven 9/2014 and in 6/2016 the digital buttons stopped working. I still give this oven an excellent rating because I kept my receipt and booklet together and when I called customer service I had no problem. They are sending me a brand new oven and there customer service was excellent as well. All though it seems like they need to rethink the digital key pad it seems like that is the biggest complaint.

I like the oven been using it for 3 years . The 90 minute timer is too short to slow cook any large piece of meat. Do not understand why they put a short timer on this oven. Steve Kosse Texas.
Need Better Manual
from Normal, IL, United States
I have not even used my oven yet because in the manual are no specific instructions for even an idea of how long to cook different foods such as, pies, cakes, different meats, etc. I do not want to waste my time or food. Why are there no guidelines included in the manual which basically tells you nothing?
The Perfect Counter Top Oven
from Valley Springs, CA, United States
I bought this almost two years ago lacking 2 months. I have loved it!!! BUT it still works except I cannot change the temperature. It is a great oven if you don't mind replacing it every couple of years. I have used counter top ovens for many years, and have never had a problem with them.......I will recommend this product, but people need to know it will not last.
Dissappointing digital read out.
from Griffin, GA
The digital read out is only half visible...It is guess work as to the time left on the timer...Love the large oven which will hold a 9 x 13 cake pan. This countertop oven is so convenient to use, compared to my regular range/oven. I use it daily.
Buttons don't work.
from Callahan, FL, United States
I bought this oven a few weeks ago and have had nothing but trouble. The buttons don't work properly if at all. I have to push all around until it seems to feel it. Used the timer once while baking a roast. Once it went off it kept turning the oven off every 25 minutes. The door was very hard to open. I thought I was going to break it. Then it wouldn't close all the way. The box had been previously opened so I figured I got a lemon. I was going to return and get another one, but after reading the reviews I think I'll look for a different one.

BEST PURCHASE EVER, I MEAN EVER!!!
from Georgia, United States
I CAN NOT TELL YOU HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS CONVECTION OVEN! I USE IT EVERYDAY, 2-3+ TIMES A DAY, & I've only had it 2 wks & could kick myself for not BUYING IT SOONER!!! IT IS PERFECT FOR BIG FAMILY DINNERS WHEN MY REG SIZE OVEN CAN'T HOLD ANYMORE, IT HANDLES THE OVERFLOW & COOKS FASTER THAN MY REG SZ OVEN, with out all the heat too & it is NOT LOUD AT ALL. I have read other reviews on OTHER BRAND models of how loud they are but don't worry- this oven is NOT! The Extra lrg sz is so convenient, it is huge-like a standard microwave & IT DOES FIT "2" 9X13 PANS WITH THE STANDARD SZ HANDLES. I HAVE COOKED "2", 4 TO 5 lb. LIL HENS ON TOP RACK & ASPARAGUS WRAPPED W/BACON ON THE BOTTOM RACK AT THE SAME TIME! Tip for you guys-simply take the top rack out of its rack holding slots(slider) & place it on top of the rack holder, it gives just a lil more room for the bottom rack, that's how I use it most of the time. I have used ALL the features & they ALL are great. I have cooked pizza's, casseroles, whole chickens, biscuits, muffins, toast, cornbread(in the large cast iron pan too!), I could go on. I have used light/dark pans-glass-aluminum-ceramic & cast iron as well & haven't had any issues, I mainly use glass just because its my favorite to bake with. I use this in place of my standard oven ALL THE TIME! I do not have any problems with this oven either-DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR "GO BUY ONE"
Large enough but.....
I bought this oven to replace one that died in Dec 2015. I like the size of it but my issues are the buttons and the timer. The timer does not keep accurate time at all, even the clock, which I don't use, goes forward 2 minutes for every 1 minute. also it does not cook evenly things in the back cook fast and burn before the things in the front even get warmed up. This is my only oven, I do not have a conventional one. I am very disappointed.

Can't live without thi oven. Can't!
We've had this over for almost three years now. In the last two years, we haven't used our built in oven.....not once. We use the big oven to store snacks. I can cook a 6 pound roast in it with ease and two large pizza's at the same time. The oven tends to run about 25 degrees hotter so some foods need to be watched until you know how it will cook for you. This oven does take up a lot of room, but it's worth losing a little counter space. Hey Oster, when are you going to make an induction burner? I could then move my oven to the stove top with the burner. No need to every replace the built in oven. Good job Oster on making great products.... my mixer is over 30 years old.
