my cell wasn't listed on compatible phones. But had no problem pairing them, and copying the phone book from the cell to the new phone.

Comments about Panasonic KX-TG7742S Link-to-Cell Bluetooth Cellular Convergence Solution with 2 Handsets:

I was a little skeptical before I purchased this product. I don't have the strongest cell phone signal in my area. I usually have to stand in a certain area to keep from losing the cell. With the Panisonic phone, I can leave my cell phone where I get the best signal and walk around the house talking with the handset -- just like a landline!

Bought this as a gift. Recipient loves it and it was easily setup. Great item for those who do not have a landline. Clarity is excellent. Buy with confidence.

Comments about Panasonic KX-TG7742S Link-to-Cell Bluetooth Cellular Convergence Solution with 2 Handsets:

Panasonic D6.0 is the best cordless phone I have ever owned. I have owned this phone for 1 1/2 years and it has performed without any glitches. The long battery life for talking is super and the back up battery for use during a power outage works well. One feature that I had forgotten about is the call blocker for " Robo Calls " that are not stopped by the " Do Not Call List " and are illegal. When the bad guys call it rings twice and disconnects the line automatically. After about 2-3 more times of robo calls from the same number they stop calling. This feature is a must with all the illegal calls from these criminals. There are so many good features that work so very well without any problems that it makes so many other brands look pale in comparison. 01/04/2013 Calif

Comments about Panasonic KX-TG7742S Link-to-Cell Bluetooth Cellular Convergence Solution with 2 Handsets:

Range and versatility are great. Only problem I have is that the base station does not have a port to add a wired headset for hands-free operation. Each handset has a port, but not the base station. So, you must use a Bluetooth headset with the base station which means you must disconnect one cell phone. Also, to use a Bluetooth headset with another cell phone, you must deregister the headset from Bluetooth connection. All of these intricacies could have been avoided by simply providing for a direct wired headset connection for the base.
