Small but Mighty!

This 10 inch sub-woofer Rocks! For an average size room there is more than enough bass. I have it in a medium size family room for music and movies. At 3/4 volume it is strong, distortion free, and punchy. Very musical and can get thunderous. Just keep in mind you will need more for a dance club, but take the wattage with a grain of salt, as it puts out plenty. At least twice as much as my former infinity downloading sub. Glad I went with this one!
This is a very solid piece of gear...

I own this subwoofer and use it for bass extension with my Audioengine A2+ desktop loudspeakers. I find it to most entertaining. NO it doesn't beat the BIG stereo but this setup sounds EXCELLENT and has me re-thinking the way I listen to music. I'm 54 years old and hate having to move great big heavy heavy amplifiers and speakers.
Very powerful and clear

I purchased this subwoofer to compliment the lower end of my existing Polk speakers and Wow! it did just that. The sound is just awesome...this subwoofer has opened a new dimension to music and movies for me.
PSW10 - needed the internet and blogs to hook up

I have three sets of Polk stereo speakers and were very pleased so I am trying one of your sub-woofers. The PSW10 is confusing to set up. The two other subs I have installed in my home only needed one wire from the single output from the amp. I needed to purchase special splitter to hook up. It was a pain. I needed to search audio blog sites on the internet to be sure I was doing it right. Need a more clear manual with explanation to insure the user knows they are wiring correctly.
Great for music

I have owned this sub for about a month. I was hesitant to make this purchase as there are other more expensive subwoofers out there but the question still remains is cost a good measure of quality ? At least for Subs...I think that cost is not a reliable indicator for quality. What do I like about this sub? It can play fine detail in music even a very low volumes, I though I had to spend a lot of money (Kevlar Woofer ? ) to get this detail. And yes, when the party gets going....this sub will not let you down. What don't I like ? It does take a lot of space...but that is a minor trade off. For anyone that has been told by the marketing people that you have to spend a lot to get a lot...im not sure that is always the case.

Purchased the 660 and had it for a day and it went out on me. Polk tried to send me a replacement amp and wanted me to swap it out myself. Asked to speak with a manager and was then finally told I would get a new sent to me. Since then I have'nt had any issues other than a clipping noise when I power on my system.
Amazing Deep Bass
Great sound for your money. The remote control fails and the dealer sended to Polkaudio México city and replaced it quickly. You need a tube Amplifier to really deploy the great sound of This subwoofer. Congratulations Polk!

I bought this for Christmas and it has a lot of thump, but it is controlable which is nice.
