Comments about Proctor-Silex Electric Can Opener - Black:
I'm not sure how a manufacturer can screw up a can opener. But Proctor Silex managed to. Absolutely nobody in the household could get this thing to work. We had to resort to using an old military manual can opener, you know the kind you put on your keychain. I kept thinking we were doing something wrong but it turns out it's just a piece of junk. I am now going to throw it in the trash.

Worse can opener ever.
By Carole the cook

This can opener does not open the cans, Has no power to do the job, when it does work it only opens the can half way and I have to use a hand opener to finish. Don't waste your money. I threw mine in the garbage.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Do not buy
from New Mexico
Magnet broke off on first can open. Motor is very weak struggles to turn cans. One of the worst products I have ever purchased, they should give these things away.
