This product has poor lower rack design

Comments about Samsung 24" Built-In Dishwasher - Stainless Steel:
This dishwasher's design attempts to hold more plate than it capable of handling. It places the plates too close to each other, therefore you have to skip every other one or the plate don't get clean. The other space for bowls and other non plate can only hold about 4 to 6, depending on the size. Wish I had done more research. Would not purchase the same appliance again.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Terrible, 16 months after purchase motherboard went.....
from Massapequa, NY
Terrible product, Samsung should stick with TVs. Motherboard went less than a year and a half after purchasing the product. Sticking with GE in the future.

Only had this about a year and a half and the control board went. The company that came to look at it basically said to go buy a new one. Parts are expensive and one needed part was not even being made anymore. It's horrible to load as well. Dishes fit awkwardly and are crammed on top of one another.
So far so good

I've been using my dishwasher for several weeks, it's done everything I expected. I do like all the features it has on it, easy to use and does a great job.

We bought this unit because we liked the features: food grinder, heated dry cycle, pot/pan cycle, etc. We have had this unit break down on us three times. Unfortunately, this last time it is just out of warranty. It has always been the same problem. It loses its mind and quits running. We were told it was a sensor and that sensor was replaced TWICE. The same thing has happened within 4 months of the last incident. It has never dried the dishes, not only are they damp but huge puddles are setting on them. You don't pay this amount of money for a dishwasher to go out on you in just over a year let alone 3 times!!
This product is good, but----

Cleans dishes well. Dish racks are weird. Has developed stain inside stainless steel door.
Lasted 1 year and 5 months

I replaced a 30+ year old dishwasher after the heating element went out. Amazing for it to have worked for all those years. Shopped for a full stainless steel in/out and settled on the Samsung DW80F600UTS/AA. Worked pretty well the first year cleaning and sanitizing dishes that were pre-rinsed. After the 1 year warranty ended, noticed it wasn't cleaning well, leaving light food still on the plates. Then 5 months after the warranty ended the sanitizing feature completely gave out and started getting high temperature heating errors. Was able to continue using the dishwasher without pressing the sanitize mode. Contacted Samsung online and opened a ticket but hadn't followed through yet. Then my washing machine machine (another brand) stopped draining, so contacted an applicance repair specialist to check on both appliances. Over the phone he said he could handle the washing machine but in his years of business, he and other repair specialist would not work on Samsung products. I referred back to the Samsung ticket and was given a repair quote for 3 parts, tax, and labor. Decided it was not worth getting it repaired and will be buying another dishwasher but it will not be a Samsung.

I have had this dishwasher for under a year. I bought it thinking it was a good brand, reasonably priced and I liked the design. I CAN NOT wait till it dies! I have read how to stack the dishwasher, making sure that there is water room for the plates on bottom, lining the outside of the upper rack with glasses first. I have to rinse every dish and glass out before I place them in the dishwasher. I also run the water in sink to make sure the water is hot coming into the dishwasher. (I always scrap them well. I also run it at least once a day) and still I have to re-wash 1/2 of the glasses each time I run the dishwasher. SO UPSETTING!!!
Waste of money
It stopped working 1 month after warranty expired.
Worst dishwasher I have ever had.
Have had this for 1 year, codes have flashed a half dozen times for different problems, never has worked correctly. Design inside is terrible. Cup rack spacing is either too big or too small for most mugs and cups, bottom rack is oddly designed to make washing both plates and pans at the same time quite difficult. Bowls? Forget it. Never will I use this type of washer again. Oddly enough, I have a Samsung french door refrigerator with outer access door, the design and total package of refrigerator is fabulous. absolutely no issues at all. But Samsung dropped the ball on the dishwasher.
