Comments about Samsung 30" Free Standing Electric Range - Stainless Steel:
I have read some negative reviews, but my printer is great. Color cartridges last a long time. I love the scan, copy and especially the fax function. I have had this printer for about 5 years and have never had any trouble with it.

Oven just DIED after only 3 years of use!!!!

I purchased this oven in 2012 because of the brand reputation and the features that this oven had. I love the fast boil burner. The fact that the oven is spacious for baking items like a large turkey. I expected this range to provide years of service for at least 7- 10 years. My oven just died after only 3 years of use! What do I mean by died? Well, it attempts to go through the preheat cycle and clicks and show the temp at 150 degrees, but never moves up to show the temperature rising in the oven. It beeps as if the cycle is complete, but shows an error code E-08. When I open the oven, there is no heat at all, not even warm! We went through the troubleshooting steps, but it still does not work. I feel the warranty should be longer than 1 year for a major appliance or extended warranty should be automatically included. It seems to be with such a short warranty, I can only expect this stove to last 1-3 years! I am VERY satisfied with the quality of the stove and don't plan to buy anymore Samsung products after the experience I had (that I can't mention here).
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The burners are really hard top clean. Really hard. It did set off my breaker several times one day. I'm worried about that in the future again.
I hate this stove...I have to set all eyes up on HIGH to get a medium boil going...Then have to cut back down. Cleans up awful even w/ their cleaner.....Hate it.................

Over the last two or three weeks I have spent mucho money on ink for this printer. It tells me I have plenty of one or another ink supplies and then when I print something it gives me streaks of color. On the first copy I checked the ink supply after it printed only yellow, cyan and black. So I checked the ink supply again and I added the Magenta because the diagnostic report did not print the magenta. So after adding the new ink cartridge, I printed the diagnostic report again and all printed solid, but the magenta print the color, but it had streaks in it. So I tried to print a picture and of course the streaks came through on the picture. This is a lousy printer. This printer is not very old and this is not the first time I had trouble with it.
The only issue I dislike about this product is the problem with the oven window can easily become dirty and it has to be taken apart to be cleaned. There has to be a way to eliminate this problem with a redesign. Taking the window a part is easy, the challenging part is putting it back together.

Every Thanksgiving, weekend, the Friday after Thanksgiving I cook a spaghetti dinner for the entire family, usually around 25 people. This year used my niece's new kitchen and she had all new appliances. Her Samsung electric range had a feature on it called 'Fast Boil'. When trying to heat 20 quarts of water to cook about 4 ponds of spaghetti, it always to almost 45 minutes to get it up to a boil using a gas range. With this fast boil feature, in 10-15 minutes, the stock pot was boiling. I was sold on this and when I get home from Thanksgiving, I went out an bought a similar range. Our new one has a double oven feature, fast boil, warming drawer and warning center. Many, many features. My wife and I just love it. If I had only one complaint, it would be that the ceramic glass cooktop scratches too easily. The first time we put a saute pan on it, there was a piece of bunt food on the bottom. It scratched the top before we knew what happened. Still a great range.
Perfect Range for us
We have owned this range for a little over a year, and it's been the best range ever due to all the cool features. We mostly leave the Flex Duo divider in since we usually bake smaller items in the upper oven, and it heats up so fast when you just use that space. We use the whole oven for baking multiple cookie sheets or loaves of bread, and we've also baked in both ovens at different temps with the divider. Every iteration works great, and we have the double oven we wanted for convenience without having to kneel to get stuff out of the lower oven. The warming drawer we mostly use for storing cookie sheets, but it's nice when we have guests to keep multiple things warm....so is the warming burner on the cooktop when adding previously sautÃ©ed ingredients to a hot pan. The cooktop is really responsive and has great simmering as well as searing temps. The trick I use when I need to lower temp quickly is move the pot halfway off the burner for 30 seconds and I can quickly go from boil to simmer. Moving to a higher temp is very quick, and the sizzle increases immediately in the pan if you go from medium to medium high. We both grew up with gas cooktops, but the electric ceramic is soooo much easier to clean. We considered induction, but we received new pots in the last couple years and did not want to replace them again....maybe next stove. This is the best setup for double ovens without sacrificing a large single oven, and we love it. The steam clean works really well in the oven....I just rub a little dish soap on any grease spots and use a scrub daddy when the cycle is over to remove them. We've also used the regular self clean, and that's great, but lengthy and not necessary for most of the regular mess we create. Awesome range, Samsung.

We used the convection cooking the first day and it already didn't work properly. The manual and website state that the oven will convert your recipe to the confected temperature. For example you enter 400 degrees and the oven will display approximately 375 degrees once the oven heats up. The service company came and were told by Samsung tech support that the stove doesn't do this. So after 1 week of getting all new Samsung appliances, the stove doesn't work properly. We are therefore unsure of exactly what temperature it's really cooking at. Very disappointing so far!
