Comments about Samsung 32" Class LED 1080p HDTV:
I do not write much but this Smart TV works great.Excellent picture quality . 1280 resolution 120 cmr. I use the TV to browse the Web. Also I am starting to use other services , vudu-(high definition videos)movies, tv shows. Use Netflix also. There are alot more apps beside these to check out also. LOVE THE SMART TV.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Good smart TV
By PanFlix Enthusiast
TV is very easy to set up. I wanted a smart TV as I love to listen to Pandora when I work at home. I started getting nervous when the smart option took a long time to launch (as I have read some samsungs can have issues with the smart features just ceasing to work), but it looks like a recent update fixed my lag. The Tv had forgotten my wifi information a couple times where my other smart TV never has this problem. TV is great overall but I like to flip from movies to music and it seems you can only change the sound option when you are on the tv screen which is a pain. The backlit remote is great; the old school way of selecting letters when doing a search is not but it's not a deal breaker. I get glare even though the product specifies reduced glare but that could just be my lighting.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was exactly when specified and TV was in great condition. The delivery guys even offered to set it up for me. Great service.

First foray into non-Apple world. +/-

Apple integrates everything. Samsung seems to just add things supplied by 3rd parties. The result for Internet access is terrible. Keyboard and mouse work for some applications but not for others. Some common functions (e.g., selecting favorite channels) are buried deep in menus. I was hoping to actually use the Internet features, but the best I can do is to hook up an Apple TV (planned) which means using a 2nd remote, etc.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Very nice television.
This is a very nice television. P.C. Richard & Son had the best price anywhere, as of the time of purchase. The picture is fantastic, noticeably better than my Samsung 46" LCD. Setup is simple, maybe 20-30 minutes in all. Best uses are for a master bedroom or den. One caveat, I personally don't like the sound coming out of this set - at all. But it is something I will get used to, over time. Not a deal-breaker by any means. Also, unless you have internet at higher speed than DSL, I would pass on the wi-fi enabled model (5300). DSL simply isn't fast enough for streaming. Save a few dollars, get the 5000 model, connect your pc and use the t.v. as a monitor.
I would buy this product again!

I really enjoy this TV and all that it does. Sound quality could be better. Would be nice if they added a DVD player to side so you wouldn't need to add another device to play your videos. TV was ordered online, delivery was great and all was as expected.
