Comments about Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0" 16GB WiFi Tablet - White:
This tablet is so sleek and durable. I have slept on it and dropped it a dozen or so times and not a scratch, chip, or any cracks. It holds a lot of memory. The camera is awesome and so is the graphics for each app. I would certainly recommend.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. I love it. But Samsung in its' infinite wisdom never updated the android version, so it felt kind of not-so-secure and it was getting slow (though I'm holding onto it). That tablet was super easy to set up and start using. The Tab A? Nightmare, maybe it's just me but this tablet took HOURS to set up. Nothing went smoothly, everything ended up having to be done at least twice and then sitting and waiting while it "processed". Then the sync went down using Smart Switch - which btw will "move" apps to new devices, but NOT app data (the important stuff you lose). Samsung needs to make it easier to set up and to, for instance, move apps with data to an SD card and put that card in the new device and copy it. Even if you need to d/l the app itself on the new device, fine! But give us a way to keep our app data after the actual app is d/l. It makes people not want to spend too much time or too much (if any) money on an app if you're just going to lose it when you upgrade. Powering up is s l o w I did get this on Black Friday, so I'm happy with the price. The weight is almost non-existent, it's really light! Easy to hold, screen is nice, it's clear and easy to read. The camera I feel is a step down from the Tab Pro 8.4 (another reason to hang onto that one) as well as the position of the back camera.

I use my tablet to replace 6 remote controls. I downloaded the Peel app and it works very well.

Nice features and speed.
I like the features of this tablet,my only issues right own is that some of them have no details on how to use them. Other than that I am really enjoying my new tablet!

from Gainesville GA

This is an awesome tablet
This is my first tablet and I was very doubtful about buying it. But now I'm glad I got it. It does really well, the batteries last a long time and it's display is really good.
Have had other tablets but this one has been the best ... only 1 drawback .. should have 2 speakers instead of one ... so have stereo
Why did we wait !
This unit has given us the freedom to search/read etc.anywhere we are. Our only regret is we did not purchase one sooner.
Not very reliable.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (SM-T350) is not a very good tablet. It lacks almost every minimum requirement to have the base price that it does (see the main page). The battery is abysmal. No, the battery life is not BAD. It is fair. The problem with this tablet is that it restarts at random and overheats. I have tried many, many times to fix this problem, and it has not been successful. Performance speeds are BAD. The speed this tablet runs at is 1.2 GhZ, with a quad-core processor. It has 1.39 GB of RAM TOTAL (it promised 2 GB, cheap hacks). The poor RAM and the slow processor makes this tablet difficult to use and a pain to use heavily. Even lighter apps struggle sometimes to run well on this excuse of a purchase. The UI is too heavy for the tablet's lacking processor and often lags, As a Samsung user since 2011, I am extremely disappointed with this tablet's overall performance. I hope in the future, the tablets are either cheaper or better.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
