For the price, great

About Me Technically Challenged
I got this because it was cheap, simple, the back didn't have a million things, and it had 100 watts per channel. My old Marantz 2252B blew last year and I replaced it with this. For the price, it's OK, but there's nothing spectacular, it just cuts what it's made for, and the price says so, nothing against it. It will never have as much bass and clarity as my old Maratnz, but if you're on a low buget, it's great for the price.

A great replacement for Kenwood

About Me Audiophile, Practical, Tech Savvy
[...]This replaced my Kenwood Stereo system tuner/amp. I found that the setup was a snap. I was up and going in short order. I tried out my head phones, but was unable to have them work on the tuner. but they never worked on the Kenwood, so they are quite suspect.I would highly recommend this unit for anyone of the past stereo era to operate their tape players, CD players, 33 1/3 rpms or other audio equipment. I am not into theater sound, but suspect that they want a "surround sound", I do not know how this would measure up in this operation.
