Comments about Snow Joe SJ621 Electric Snow Thrower:
Motor burned out after first use. Company replaced unit in 2 days but now I have paid for new unit and the replacement is reconditioned, also they cut the warranty period from 2 years down to 1 because this unit is reconditioned.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

So far so good

About Me Do-It-Yourself
I'm located in Suffolk County, Long Island, NY. We've had a tough winter thus far. After the first snowstorm, I decided to purchase a snow blower. I had to decide between gas vs electric. I went with this one, price was perfect. Electric seems fine. Just be careful around the cord, don't drive over it. It was powerful enough. My driveway is big...real big. 50' extension cord recommended (if you don't have one.) A bit noisy - I do have ear plugs. If it's really windy, the snow tends to blow towards you depending on which way your blowing the snow. The physical size of the blower is small/compact and won't take up too much space in the garage.
Service and delivery comments:
Shipping was perfect, no complaints - fast and no damage to the box.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
