Rattles and is noisy!
from Seattle, WA
Comments about Philips Sonicare E-Series Standard Brush Heads - 2 Pack:
I have used Sonicare products for up to 20 years and been happy with all previous models. This one is an anomaly. The features are fine but it is very noisy and rattles around in the mouth. Very annoying. I didn't open the box right away so was not able to return it to Sonicare. Next time I will try out my new purchase right away!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Excellent reduction in dental plaque=great dentist visits
The Sonicare Gum Health toothbrush provides excellent performance in reducing dental plaque and lowering the risk of periodontal (gum) disease. Dental checkups are improved. Tooth gum pockets are improved in size, reducing gum disease more than manual toothbrush. Highly recommend the Sonicare.

Big price for poor performance
from Saint Petersburg, FL
I like unit where it is light and easy to maintian than the sonic care essence where its head accumulates alot of gunk that had to cleaned everyday. But I am going back to it because it did alot better job of keeping my teeth clean than the gum health did. I the noticed while flossing there was alot of food/plaque inbetween and on the teeth which wasn.t there when i was using the essence.model I have kept using it for the past couple weeks hoping there would be a improvement but it has failed to do so..
I have been using this toothbrush for about 2-3 weeks now and my teeth feel cleaner and look cleaner and whiter than they ever have compared to using a manual toothbrush. The 3 intensity settings are nice. I started the first day using the lowest which was a good start to learn about the toothbrush and to get used to brushing with it. The next 2-3 days I started using the second highest intensity and I felt more confident with the toothbrush and began to notice significantly cleaner teeth. After about a week I am now hooked on the toothbrush. The highest intensity level is perfect and really gives you a deep clean. One drawback is that sometimes I ended up switching between the intensity levels when I didn't want too but that is just me I believe accidentally pushing the button to many times in 1.5 seconds after pause. I haven't tried the 2 series with just one speed but if your looking for a less expense brush than this one (the 3 series) I would recommend it. You don't need 3 speeds unless you have sensitive teeth and such. I think the one speed would work just as well as this brush. With the 3 series I personally enjoyed having the 3 speeds to be able to start slow and work my way up over time. The 2 series has a function like this but I was wanting to choose between my options faster without having to mess with the brush to much. Overall I am now a die hard Sonicare lover. I will never go back to a manual toothbrush for the rest of my life. No other brand but Sonicare does the job correctly and more efficiently and with better results. Must have.
