Comments about Sony 1600 Watt Mini System with Bluetooth & NFC:
If your looking for a big system like at a night club this is not that.If you want something that sounds good and is pretty loud for the price then you will love this system.I listen to country and classic rock and this really sounds great and gets pretty loud and has lots of features

I LIKE IT
I bought this system about 2 months ago for my work stereo I work in a very large mold shop and when I crank it to about 46 people at the other end of the shop know exactly what I am playing and they all love it and there is plenty of bass sometimes a little to much. although I am very happy with it there is no way it is 1600 watts but its major loud and plenty clear

I owned the MHC-909ip previously before I purchased this monster. The 909ip had great bass, plenty of power and was value priced. This GPX55 literally makes the 909 sound as if it were broken. The bass is something fierce, highs are clear, very clear at higher volumes. True, the subwoofer may not sound like much bass, but it is targeted for the lower end notes, it makes a difference. Also unlike the 909ip, There is zero distortion when fully maxed out volume. simply the best 2.1 stereo I have ever purchased for less than a 1,000$. The lights are cool, especially at night when they truly are awesome. Bluetooth function, dj effects, plethora of Equalizers will ensure you never get bored of this unit. Great buy, can really FEEL the music!

Big, bold and loud
This is one large system. The pieces, when stacked side by side like the product picture, are wider than most coffee tables. The main unit is deceivingly light (it looks way heavier than it should be), and the subwoofer is heavy enough to take out your foot if you accidentally drop it on yourself. The equalization is customizable, so you can adjust the bass, the middle and the treble up 6db or down 6db as you like. The new bass boost function adds alot of bass to the left and right channel, but strangely not to the subwoofer. I've turned off and disconnected the sub for a day, and discovered that the left and right channels are putting out very solid bass on their own. The subwoofer needs to be dialed up to +10dB for me to hear the added bass, and there is actually not alot of it, considering how big the sub is. You won't see alot of movement on the subwoofer cone either. The system does get really loud, but the highs can sound a bit muffled, and although the bass is very powerful, it is not deep enough to sound clean. I can't imagine anyone buying this system playing orchestral music, but in case you want to, turning off or lowering the subwoofer or just the general bass output gives you a much clearer, cleaner sound. One thing is for sure though, if you really want to throw a party with this oddly shaped system, it will not disappoint. I have not pushed the system past Volume 30, because at around 27-28, it is getting too loud for me to hear myself. It is definitely powerful enough to make all your neighbors within half a block to hate you, so be careful when you want to invite your friends over for some loud music. Bluetooth streaming is very stable, my very old iPhone 4s can shuffle through hours of music with it without any problems. There is a less compressed, Bluetooh AAC streaming option, which my iPhone supports, and the sound is cleaner than the standard Bluetooth audio streaming. I could definitely live without the flashy LEDs, thankfully, Sony lets me turn them off completely, but the classic, 5-band spectrum analyzer display is just gorgeous.
