Overview

The XM-GTR2202 amplifier makes installations easier with High Level ''Sensing'' Power On inputs to make OEM integration much faster. Their slim profile will allow installers to put them in more places and customize their appearance while variable LPF, subsonic filter and bass boost let them dial in the sound.

Detailed Features

The XM-GTR2202 2-channel bridgeable amplifier makes installations easier with High Level ''Sensing'' Power On inputs so installers don't need to run a separate turn-on lead, which can make OEM integration installations much faster. On the outside, their slim profile will allow installers to put them in more places and customize their appearance while variable LPF, subsonic filter and bass boost let them dial in the sound. Customers will appreciate the audio performance thanks to large capacitors and improved MOSFET devices.

High Level input with Sensing Power On

Direct connection (High Level Input) can be made with the speaker output of your car audio unit if it is not equipped with RCA line output. Hi-Level Sensing power On feature allows the unit to be activated without need for remote connection.

50-300 Hz Variable Low-pass filter, 12 dB/oct

Built in variable 12 dB/Oct LPF (Low Pass Filter) from 50-300Hz enables users to concentrate the power on lower frequencies.

6-70 Hz Variable subsonic filter, 12 dB/oct

Built in variable 12 dB/Oct Subsonic filter from 6-70Hz enables users to create a band pass filter and block extremely low frequencies to improve the subwoofer systems efficiency.

0-10 dB Variable 40Hz Low boost

Variable 0-10 dB 40Hz bass boost provides additional bass response at lower frequencies.

Documents

1 CEA-2006 Compliant — Standardized “Voluntary” Testing & Measurement Methods for Mobile Audio Amplifiers. This standard advocates a uniform method for determining an amplifier’s RMS power and signal-to-noise ratio. Using 14.4 volts, RMS watts are measured into a 4-ohm impedance load at 1 percent Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) plus noise, at a frequency range (for general purpose amplifiers) of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz.

Powerfull amp

By mrnewguy

from ohio

Comments about Sony Xplod GTR Series 2/1 Amplifier:

I have had this amp for 3 months now, working power full and great. But now i had to remove the amp and hooked it back up and now it doesn't perform as well and i have to send it to texas for a exchange/repair and sony's service center. I got a 3 year warranty so nothing is going to cost me but the shipping.
