Comments about Summit 9.8 Cu. Ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator - Stainless Steel:

I want to love this refrigerator. The size is great--perfect for my small apartment. And it keeps things cold at an efficient setting. The front of the fridge looks nice.

When I got it in January 2014, it was very quiet. It's not as quiet now and runs frequently. The crisper and freezer drawers/doors are pretty cheap, but that's no surprise if you see the fridge in a showroom. I think summit should put better materials into this fridge and charge a little more because the consumer either gets this fridge for around $1200 or the Liebherr at $3300.

I had to pull it out to vacuum the coils because i had some work done in my apartment. The construction of the back panel is very cheap. There is foil at the bottom and tape to hold things in place. I've written to Summit about it--maybe this was just on my refrigerator, but it seems very shoddy construction even for a fridge at this price point.

Service and delivery comments:

The delivery guys were late but at least they showed up.

They did bang my wall up a bit. it was a tight fit, but i think they could have gotten it in there without doing that.

The sales person at PC richards was very helpful.
