Comments about Vornado 3 Heat Setting Electric Heater:
Bought two of these at PC Richards, only store that had them in stock. Although outside temps only in mid 30's, put one in the large man cave and one in the living area. Much to my delight, kept both rooms at temp(68-70) without the oil furnace kicking on, but a few times overnight upstairs. We shall see what the electric bill brings(oil at $3.74) but must say impressed with these small units. Be patient, they do not blast warm air and take time to get the room warmed up.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

About Me Renter
I bought it for the "fan forced" claim and compact size. I Put it in different rooms of different sizes to give it a chance, but each time it didn't do the job. Very cute, but didn't warm anything up. I ended up putting in a little more to get a DeLonghi heater, which did and does all it says on the box. Fan forced, energy saver, remote control, cool air etc... Going to buy a second one.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Hot air not forced.
By Still Cold
Bought this today and tried it out in different sized rooms. I even sat right in front of it and still was cold. Fan forced is just a joke. It barely blows anything out. Very quiet, pretty and good size, but that's about it. Returning tomorrow. Hope I can find something that does what is says - "heat up a room" or at least an area.
