Comments about Westinghouse 37" Class LED HDTV:
I really wanted to love this TV. It's one of the few out there that will fit nicely in my existing home entertainment system that used to house my CRT 36", (although I had to get creative with finding some risers to set it on so it would'nt be so low. A TV right around 33" wide is very HTF. Problem is, I've had three of these Westinghouses now - PC Richard has been great about exchanging these. First one just stopped powering up after a couple of weeks. Second one stopped accepting my cable TV and video game consoles plugged into the HDMI inputs. TV #3 is now not accepting my cable anymore, (have to run my box from RCA out as an AUX just to watch it and the volume buzzes when I do that), and the TV is losing the HDMI signal through from my PS3 intermittently. Also, the picture is terrible, can't get a decent red, (more like a light purple, blacks are pixelated, lots of blur on moving scenes, picture not sharp at all adjusting doesn't help, and the sound quality is downright embarrassing. My CRT TV blew this away. I'm going to try this one more time, only because the wdith is so HTF.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

No Remote, No Control

I go dual screen with my laptop via a docking station (Application Developer, Net work Admin). I play video games... I watch quite a bit of TV. Now that my remote control is busted and the TV somehow ended up on the wrong input... All I have is snow (cable TV remote doesn't/won't change input) Not recommended

Service and delivery comments:
Was bummed after setting it up and using it we noticed a RED pixel that would not shut off. It was noticeable from across the room. Wrote to Westinghouse and they had me take pictures of it and they authorized it for return (AT MY EXPENSE) called PC Richard's Customer Service and was told basically (too bad, so sad) from one of their agents. Was transferred to another agent in their Internet Sales department. This agent listened and then took action. I can say that I was pleased when they sent me out another TV and a UPS call tag for the first one. NOW THAT IS SERVICE!! I am pleased with the TV and PC Richard. I live in Michigan and they are on the East Coast and I will continue to buy from them for the best prices and service!! This is my second TV purchase from them in the past 4 years.Excellent Delivery and prompt!
