Comments about Whirlpool 2.0 Cu. Ft. Front Loading Washer - White:
We purchased this machine 1 month ago to fit in a small space and were counting on the reputation of Whirlpool to provide a good machine - after 5 wash loads we began to get error codes, at times unable to open the door and get our clothes out! We keep getting error F23 - an error code not explained in the manual or online technical support sites. We have been told various error codes are a common problem in this model. We have found this washer to be unreliable - we are never sure when a load of wash will get done and when it will not be completed because of an error code.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Sweet Mini, what the Doctor ordered
from Georgia, United States
Got my front loading washer (small) and my front loading dryer (small) for my condo. The space is not large where they go. It is in the bathroom, about the size of a linen closet. We rent this condo and it is on the beach so people wash all the time, sand you know. Everyone who has stayed since we got the new washer and dryer have said how great they were. Easy to use and the dryer vent was in the front and not in the top right rear of the dryer where you could not find it. We have a sign that says clean dryer vent after each load. They look great and I really like them. My last Whirlpool wash and dryer were over 18 years old when we let them go to rest. We had moved them from Ohio to Michigan to Georgia. I like my Whirlpool products, good value for the money and they become part of the family. I bet that old washer and dryer could tell some stories. It sure did cover up a lot of mud in its day.
My First Front Loader
from Waterloo, NY, United States
I needed a new washer and the space in my house that accommodates one was quite narrow. I could not find a replacement top loader so I bought the Whirlpool front loader. I found it easy to use and it does a great job with less water, cutting down on drying time. I am extremely pleased with this washer.
Great little Machine
Runs quietly, its almost like there is not even a washer is the house compared to my previous one. For those of you who are having problems with the start button, here is the secret . Once you have selected your cycle and have pressed and hold the start button for 3 seconds, after the start button lights up wait for the Door Locked light to start blinking. Only then should you close the door and continue to open and close the door until the door locks and cant open any more and the timer starts to move. (Its like a small few seconds window that you have to close the door which will activate the door close sensor for the machine to start the wash cycle you have selected. The door locked light will then stay on red) Failure to activate the door close sensor in those few seconds will result in the door locked light repeately blinking and the start light on the start button going off after about one minute and the machine not starting the wash cycle. Most people who have Starting issues with this machine are simply closeing the door much to early before pressing the Start button.for the recomended 3 seconds !
compact front load washer

I bought this washer last December and already have had three service calls to fix the washer. This is the most trouble I have had with any washer I have purchased.
Compact Front Load Washer is Perfect for RVer's
from Brookings, OR, United States
This compact Whirlpool washer, which is under a Whirlpool compact dryer, is so much better than the combination washer/dryers that are commonly sold for RVs. Our laundry is done in under half the time of the combination models. This model has more options and shows how much time is left before it is finished - Some of the options are quick wash, normal, heavy duty, drain/spin, just to name a couple. It is quiet and the cloths, towels and sheets come out very clean. This washer exceeds our expectations.

My new washer is working like a dream. I am very pleased with my purchase. First time I had a front load washer.

Spent a whole weekend trying to get this thing to work. Constantly getting A10 code. Had a service tech come and dismantle, pulled out a few coins and put back together. Worked once and then stop working again. Replaced pump and still having draining issues. Plus the whole start up takes way too much time and having to follow a strict order to work. With all the problems I have seen with this washer, Whirlpool should be offering a free service call. The machine is not even 2 years old!!! Crazy!!

I bought these Whirlpool Washer & Dryer for my vacation home and I was fortunate to find the brand I was looking for in the sizes that fit the limited space inside the Utility Room. I have used it only twice during one visit. It worked great. Washed clean and dried my clothes completely without having to add extra time. I am happy with my purchase.
