We bought this washer new with our new fifth wheel. We have had it for about 1 1/2 years. The pump has been replaced, the motor control board twice, door switch, and other parts we can't remember. We have not been able to use it for months. The repair tech would come out, diagnose the problem, leave and order the part. He would come back in a few weeks with the new part. Sometimes it would be fixed but if not the whole process would start again!! Now after working two months, it has broken down again!! Whirlpool should just give us a new one, since this is a BIG lemon. This is very frustrating!!!!!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Nice size but it doesn't work
from Show Low Az
We bought this for our 5th wheel 3 days before the end of the summer season. We tried the washer before we returned to,our winter residence and it didn't work. It would go through the wash cycle and would not rinse and spin. We called the tech out and he couldn't fix it. He the said we have to call Whirlpool. Since we were leaving for the winter we had to wait until we come back in the spring.
Most Expensive Piece of Junk I Ever Purchased
I have had this washer for 2 years & it only works half the time. It stalls constantly or cycle simply will not start. After about 6 tries, it might start if you are lucky. I absolutely do NOT recommend this washer. It seems to be a very poor design with a LOT of problems.
Spent A Fortune on Washer Replacement Parts
By Spent A Fortune on Washer Parts

Our washer isn't even 2 years old yet and we have had to replace quite a few parts. (Of course after the 1 year warranty expired.) The latest purchases have been a new pump and door switch. It still doesn't work so probably have to replace the board which is over $200. I wouldn't waste my money again, I would find a more reliable washer.
Great features and easy to use.

I chose my Whirlpool Washer & Dryer because I have the Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer in my home in Central Florida and like the reliability of the product. Also it is the purchase price and installation was very reasonable. I absolutely love my Whirlpool stackable washer and dryer.
already needed repair
less than 30 days, washer, dryer, refrigerator not working, Junk..
Control knob broke $160 to replace
from Gettysburg, PA
Washer worked ok but by our accident, the control knob broke off and you can't simply replace the knob. You have to buy the entire front control panel which costs $160 and which is also on factory backorder from every site possible. Thanks Whirlpool

DO NOT BUY IT!
from Kelowna, BC
DO NOT BUY IT!This model is a total failure. I bought this machine in the end of 2014. In April 2015 the drain pump was changed. Since than same error messages A10 and F03 still showed up until the machine ended the process only with low spin. We had to squeeze the items by hand before drying. We call Whirlpool and they sent a tech guy who spent three hours with Whirlpool phone support with no results. I was charged $100 for service and I was told that the drain pump and the control board will cost me $600 plus the additional labor costs. It is more that I paid for the machine two years ago.I called back Whirlpool and they told me that I do not have extended warranty, so I have to buy a new set of appliances. At the moment I am not a buyer of any Whirlpool products.Just stay away from this product! It is garbage!

Worst Machine I have ever owned
from Merritt, NC
I should have read the reviews before I purchased this washer. I purchased a Whirlpool because I thought it was a quality product, boy was I wrong. Before the washer was a year old I had high speed spin problems. The washer would clean the clothes but would leave me with sodden clothes at the end of the cycle. The machine has never showed any error codes. I have used the drain and spin cycle and that does not work, tried unplugging and plugging the machine, and I have taken some clothes out to make the load smaller. None of these items work. My repair tech has replaced the pump and the pressure switch. The machine works for about a month each time then defaults back to sodden clothes. He told me that the next step is the control panel but reading the reviews, I think this is a waste of time and money. We will probably cut our losses and purchase a new machine. I know after this experience it will not be a Whirlpool. How they could put their name a such a piece of junk, it is beyond me. Model#WFC7500VW2, serial #CD44613928, purchased 01/15/2015.
