Comments about Whirlpool 22.07 Cu. Ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator - Smooth Black:
Fits the cabinet space we have with no room to spare!! Great for our small kitchen. Thank you Whirlpool for making this size. Future owners measure carefully your opening and see this model for measurements on the showroom floor.Love the usable space inside the top frig and the layout of the freezer with minimal space taken up by ice maker. Well done.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

By No longer cleaning up water

I bought this refrigerator about 3 months ago and it has been a gem ever since. It runs great and is not noisy, except when it is making ice. You can hear the ice maker bringing water in to make the ice. No big deal, I have had that with all of my refrigerators that make ice.
Enhanced our Kitchen
We are very pleased with it. Just what we needed.

I really like this refrigerator. Every thing is easy to see and reach. I can find things better in the freezer too.

I'm so glad I bought this refrigerator. It's the first time I purchased a frig with a bottom freezer. What a great decision it is so much easier to organize and clean. I am so happy with my decision.

I had a Whirlpool side by side that lasted about 12 years. Decided to get another SBS and bought a Frigidaire. This was so noisy that I returned it and got the Whirlpool bottom freezer. I really like the spacious refer part but the bottom freezer was a little disappointing. This refer also is noisy and I may call the service people out to see if they can fix it
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Love the fridge
from Marion Indiana
I love the freezer at the bottom, not as large as I thought it would be but it's easy to find things. I just need to be more realistic on frozen items.

We have had our fridge for about a month. The main refrigerator has lots of room, is well lit and easy to see and use. The pull out freezer seems to hold less than our previous top freezer style. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase and would recommend it to anyone.
I Love It!!

I bought a few weeks ago and have enjoyed the fridge.
Door won't close too fast. In fact, you close it yourself.
from Glen Ellyn, Illinois
The refrigerator is just right for us. Plenty of room and nice and quiet. The shelves are sturdy and very adjustable. I do have one problem. The door had to be switched and the delivery guy did that. However, he scratched the door and had to order another unit. Depite our request to have the door on the replacement switched at the warehouse, the delivery guy did the switch (just the door) at our house. At this point I noticed that the door did not close by itself very well and had to be pushed closed. The delivery guy took out a part from the bottom hinge and whittle on it with a pocket knife. I assumed that he re-inserted it. At this point it seemed to be even less able to self-close. Not wanting to go through this again, we decided that er could live with closing the door firmly and accepted the unit as-is. A few weeks later I looked at the hinge and the schematic and determined that we needed a "door closure" part. I ordered one on-line at a cost of $37.42 and when it came, it looked just like the one that was original. After careful study, I determined the problem is that- there should be a part that fits in the recess of the door above the "closure" and works with it to close the door. That part is missing and also not shown in the schematic. If you find this story intrigueing and know what I'm talking about, please send me the part. Otherwise, we still like the unit just fine. We just make sure that we close the door all the way. Just like the old days!Bob
