Love the look of my new oven!
By Mimi Kay
from Dexter, MO, United States
I have just moved to a new home, and the oven in the house was the original one when the home was built in 1978. I am very happy with this product, love the look of the stainless finish. The touch button controls are great, and easy to work. I just used the broiler for the first time yesterday, had no problems. I have had to get used to the fan running after the oven is turned off, but no problem there.
Had some problems
from Waco tx
first week had water leak inside of fridge each tme a glass of water was filled, also had freezing on the back wall and a slight water drip on the ice dispenser area. Called for reapair and it was all corrected. Now it's making a couple of whinning noises which are bothersome so I'll call for service again. It's a great refrigerator just had some problems on this one which will be ok in the near future. Warranty was excellent
The cooking and broiling are great. The cleaning process is a wast. After 5 hours on clean, the oven is still too dirty.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Very easy to operate!
from Fallbrook CA
We needed a small wall oven and this one fit perfectly. Very easy to operate and the fan noise is reasonable (I read some bad reviews on noise on other manufacturer's products). Temperature distribution is even. I am not a big baker, so this one will satisfy all I need from an oven. Much much better looking compared to the 20-year-old one I replaced. It is worth the price.
self cleaning/timer/control logic, etc..
from Bellefontaine, OH
We live in a 70 year old house, that we have remodeled over the past twenty years. I'm sure the old Hotpoint oven was original (or replaced/installed in the 50s). We love this new oven (even though it took a bit of restructuring to install it).
Finally Found a Great One!
from Dallas, TX, United States
I had an older house, so finding a replacement oven that will easily fit (and look nice, of course) was a chore. I finally found this model and was able to replace myself with no carpentry work. After many years with a sketchy oven, I'm thrilled that everything now comes out finished as it should be. My options are endless, so I am very happy!
Great inexpensive unit
from Russellville, TN, United States
I purchased this a couple months ago to replace a broken oven from 1986. I wanted convection but for my limited space this oven was the best price and best option for us. Only issues I have with this oven is preheat time is longer than expected, 15 minutes to 400 degrees; louder because of the excessive amount of time the fan runs after after baking is finished.
Just What We Needed
from Columbia, SC, United States
We bought this oven because the control panel died on our previous oven and it would have cost quite a bit to replace that component. Thankfully, Whirlpool carried this smaller-sized oven as we have an older home and don't have room for a larger one. The capacity of this oven far exceeded our expectations and the control panel is very intuitive. So far baking and roasting has been fine. I'm giving it 4 starts out of 5 only because it tends to run a little hotter than the display temperature indicates and it also takes some time to preheat. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase.
THIS PRODUCT HAS ALL THE FEATURES THAT I WANTED.
This oven looks good and operates well. My only complaint is that it takes twice as long to pre-heat as my old oven.
