had to buy extra shelfs for the freezer
so far so good 2 months old
from Cleveland, OH
Bought it recently and works great. Plenty of storage.
Looks good but having problems
Refrigerator/freezer quit working within 2 weeks and all food in freezer thawed. It took a week and a half to get someone out to check it and tell us the fan motor wasn't working. They had to order the part and it took another week and a half to get the part in and fix it. We had to go buy a cheap refrigerator to put in the garage in order to salvage what we could out of our other refrigerator and to have something to keep our food cold. Hopefully it is fixed now and we won't have any more problems. The ice maker is very noisy.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Bought this fridge with our brand new house through the builder. Love the size and design. Have a little problem with the ice compartment being a bit wobbly, but called the warranty line and they are sending out a new compartment. Hopefully that will take care of the problem. The warranty dept. was very helpful, but I was on hold for longer than expected.

Bought this refrigerator about a month ago and I am very pleased with my choice. Ice maker keeps up with demand and shelving accommodates items and keeps them organized. Great product!
It's okay. . .

I bought this a month ago and it is an okay refrigerator. There are two disappointing features. First, you can not adjust the location of the shelves. So, for example, my filtered water pitcher won't fit on the top shelf, which is where I would like to put it. Second, the ice dispenser pops ice out every which way so I always have to cup my hands around the top of the glass to catch the stray pieces that fly sideways. The water dispenser comes out at a trickle so you must be very patient if you want water. Overall, I am disappointed with this refrigerator but I can live with it.

Should have written this sooner (my bad)...WSF26C2EXY02

We built our brand new home and moved in Jan. 2013. Bought this whirlpool WSF26C2EXY02 and it stunk from the beginning. (heads up when you build-sometimes they buy the appliances months before-Watch out for warranty timeline!!!)In this whirlpool fridge, the food would freeze on top shelf in the fridge side. The freezer side always had soft ice cream. After repeated visits from local company, Whirlpool finally replaced it with the same. I asked if we could upgrade and I would pay the difference, and they said no. Should have pushed harder..New one delivered 2014. Fine for a while, and almost forgot until it started to freeze in the fridge part again. Time gets away from us and finally I had enough and called Jan. 2015 to have someone investigate. The new Fridge we bought had broken clips inside the freezer and the filter head was cracked and slowly leaking. The broken clips were no where to be found. The local company fixed it and now again in 2016 the ice cubes came out small. Pulled out the fridge to investigate and water is leaking out of the bottom.Basic warranty is obviously long gone. The reason I write this is for you to stay on top of things and make sure you journal findings and keep track of timeline. Whirlpool was not great to work with after they knew we didn't buy extended warranty. Really, all you're getting coverage for is the actual statistical probability of the breakdown, but you're paying for overhead profit and marketing in addition to that.

Our top of the line Jennair Lemon finally died after 8 years. This one has a louder motor. Have had for a month now and all is good.

I wasn't sure I wanted another side by side, but this one is pretty roomy. The paddles for ice and water are a little difficult to press, but work OK. The ice maker is in the door, so it doesn't take up space in the freezer. The stainless is a difficult surface to clean.
