Whirlpool gas range
from Grand Rapids
I bought this 6 months ago. I was happy for what I got, the working of this range is fine. 1) However, the gas burners dont turn on quickly(need a couple of try's) especially the smaller ones behind and the middle one. 2) The real estate on the range is small especially when I have atleast one huge pan and therefore there is an overlap 3) The paint on the burners gets off even while cleaning with regular dish liquids4) The supporting frame started rusting after the first wash.

I purchased this stove for my new home and it was delivered about a month ago. It is everything that I thought it would be and more. I'm still learning this stove but I've noticed a difference in my food already. The convection oven cooks my meals very evenly and to my desired finish. The cooking time is certainly less than I've experienced with electric ranges. I can't wait to prepare my Thanksgiving feast and give this range a full test in preparing my meats, veggies, and dessert dishes!!

We are very happy with this range. The heavy flat grate has made our cookware heat evenly and we are using our electric fry pan less as we become more familiar with the burners and controls. The ovens are a work of art, I am a ceiliac and baking gf goods has worked out very well. Our only issue with the oven is it does not warm up the kitchen.

We have had this appliance a couple months and this is my opinion of this range. I cook for a family of 7 so my needs may be different from what you may need in a range. I cook primarily with cast iron as well stainless steel stock pots. The ovens are great! They both heat quickly and are easy to navigate the controls. I do have to say heavy items can be tricky to add or remove from the bottom oven. The top oven is great for baking a quick tray of roasted veggies or a small pizza. The range has some flaws that need improvement. 1)The grates move.2)There is this annoying gap between the front of the stove and the grates that food falls in to. To fix these two issues I flipped them around and I am testing this position to see how well it works. 3) The higher BTU burners are in the front the grates have an angled edge making it difficult to have large pots balanced properly. My cast iron skillets hang over and I can't center them properly for even cooking.4) The center burner isn't strong enough to properly heat my Griddle and the side burners are not similar enough BTU's to use either. Over all the ovens are the best feature, If you don't cook large amounts of food constantly than this could be for you. I on the other hand cook for & three times a day and will look for a better range next time, probably something more commercial.

Very happy with purchase. Easy to use and maintain. Great product.
Just love it!

After shopping and researching ovens for about 2 weeks, I decided on the Whirlpool and it was a good decision. My main reason was because the bottom oven was the largest size for a double oven model. Most other brands were 1 to 2 inches smaller. I find that I use the top oven more than I thought I would. That too, is quite large. Besides being the perfect size for a casserole dish, you can fit a small roast. It is nice to be able to save energy cooking smaller items without turning on the large oven. It also comes with 5 burners. I find that I use the 5th burner more than I thought I would. And finally, the oven looks beautiful and seems to be easy to clean.
Happy Wife Happy Life

Over 40 years of marriage and my wife got her dream double oven range. She loves it, the top oven she uses for pizza, turnovers and biscuits. The larger lower oven for roasts, turkeys when our sons, daughter in laws and grandchildren come for dinner. This is by far the best product weve ever owned.
