DO NOT BUY

Comments about Whirlpool 3.8 Cu. Ft. Top Loading Washer - White:
I have had this washer for a year now and every month theres a new reason I resent ever buying it. To begin with, it leaves horrible soap stains on all of my clothes. It has ruined more than one piece of clothing for this reason.About two months in it began to horribly knot my clothes in the washer and leave them a terrible wrinkled mess that the dryer couldn't even touch. Fast forward a few months and now the washer is not even cleaning all of my clothes. Every load I take out, only half of a shirt or a quarter of a pair of pants will even be wet and the other half will be covered in soap. I could not be more dissatisfied with this washer. I have scoured the manual and done absolutely everything it says to do. I use a tablespoon of soap. I have tried liquid soap and powder soap. I clean the washer with affresh.NOTHING has made a difference. Do NOT buy this washing machine.

want my old one back
from Federal Way, WA
I hate this washer... I don't like the low water level, but most of all it is SSSOOOOO NOISY when in wash mode, that even in my garage, I can hear it in my house!
from Maple Valley WA
I received this washer as part of local utility's energy efficiency swap - they took my old washer away and left me this one. It's gorgeous! It's very water and energy efficient and seems to do a good job of cleaning the clothes. It has a large drum with no center agitator so it fits a lot inside. We love it.
looks modern inovative

Not only is it environmental, minimum quantities of water are required and uses little electricity, it is relatively quiet and lets you know when your washing is done.
A Huge Disappointment
from Chesapeake, VA
I've had this washer for a year now and still hate it. I've never heard a washer make such loud noises. I have to keep my laundry room door closed during use. The machine must be hard on clothes as I keep finding broken seam and hem threads on new clothing.
The Whirlpool Cabrio is Great!
from Seattle, WA
At first I was thrown off by the fact that the water didn't fill up as my old machine did, but after reading the manual closer I realized that it sensors the amount of items and disperses water accordingly, point; to save energy and water waste...I am however very satisfied with it, it cleans my clothes thoroughly and leaves them smelling fresh and clean!

Works W-A-Y Better than my old one!
from Lummi Island, WA
When I first got this machine, it took me a few washes to get used to it because it is so different from my old machine. Now that I have had this a couple of weeks, I can say that I am impressed and more than extremely pleased with washer. It is quieter and does a better job than any others I have owned. Love how easy it is to use. I actually enjoy using it!
