Good Basic Range
Comments about Whirlpool 30" Drop-In Electric Range - White on White:
A very simple range that performs well for the price. We have only had ours for a couple of months but it was performed trouble free so far.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Love the easy timing setting...always being in a rush, its so easy to get sidetracked and forget a 15 minute oven check... But with my easy timmer... I dontOvercook pizza anymore. My kidsThank you, as do I.

Great looking stove. Works well. Easy to use.
Sad excuse for a $500 range.
Bought two weeks ago. I am extremely disappointed with the design integrity. The sheet metal gauge is too thin, the porcelain coating also too thin. And the storage drawer is also cheaply designed. No handle. Shallow, short & low walls. Also, with all the technology available today, I expect a couple of options for timer sounds. This unit has the exact same sound as my non-whirlpool microwave oven. There's no way to tell from the sound which unit is alarming if not in the kitchen, which is the reason to have an alarm.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

We purchased this range in July/August and it is very easy to use. The temperature is right on and doesn't cook too fast or too slow so meals can be timed perfectly. I am so glad we chose this model.
It works and is ok. I expected it to be as well-made as it would have been in the past but it's not quite that good. The burners and pans under them don't clean up easily. The burners are also hard to take off and put on when something spills. The oven door doesn't sit on fully straight. And the oven/timer/etc. buttons are not very intuitive as to how to work them.
All new appliances!

I was forced to replace all my 22 year old appliances last week and my only selection was Whirlpool. The new, updated range is great! So easy to use and to clean and I have that "made in America" trust.
Sleek design and simple to work
