Love this oven!

Comments about Whirlpool 30" Double Electric Wall Oven - Black:
Finally, an oven that heats quickly and bakes in the time shown in recipes. No more guessing if the recipe has baked long enough. However, while cleaning the bottom oven (lowest rail) I sliced my finger as the rail had a raw edge.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Cooks well but very loud and smelly!
By Mom of 2
from Clarks Summit PA
I bought this when we redid our kitchen last month. We have noticed that it is very loud with the fans running and also the smell that comes with using it is very bad. I have asthma and it is very irritating to my lungs. Other wise it does cook well and looks very nice.

We selected this model for our custom home. The performance is fine but the noise is so irritating we hate to use it. Ovens shouldn't sound like leaf blowers. We have started to use our toaster oven whenever possible.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
The fan noise is very annoying!
By L, the disappointed owner
We recently moved into our new house having the Whirlpool 30" Double Wall Oven. We were excited in anticipation as we had never had double ovens before. Unfortunately, only after a few weeks, we have become very disappointed with the cooling fan noise. I don't understand, we've never before owned an oven that even had a cooling fan. Why do we have to have one now? Just this evening, we cooked dinner in the oven and all the time that we ate, we became more and more annoyed with the fan noise ruining what should have been a calm peaceful meal. Can anything be done? Can the power wires be disconnected from the cooling fan or would that present a danger? Again, I just don't understand why now, all of a sudden, my oven needs a cooling fan. I've never owned one that had one before.BELIEVE ME, IT IS ANNOYING! And, it just seems to go on way too long!
Best ovens we ever owned

We purchased new home in July, 2016. Owner upgraded kitchen with the Whirlpool double oven. . They cook food perfectly. Nice to have extra oven. Main course on one, side dish in the other.
Don't clean without letting one of them cool first
from Midlothian, TX
My wife cleaned both our ovens one right after the other. Well there is a 199.4 F degree thermal fuse that went out because it got too hot. This is not a good design feature so be forwarned...Steve

I only buy Whirlpool appliances (even my bathtub is a Whirlpool Royal), but this is my first double oven. It heats very fast & very hot. I love it!!!
