Exceptional product, easy to use. The best thing about this is the cobalt color inside.

Large Oven Mis-Placed Heat Vent
from Deland, FL
Vent is located at the bottom of oven and heats up the kitchen. Other than the vent it is a great oven.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Love this oven!

The oven is great, cooks evenly, easy to clean, large glass doors make it very easy to monitor what is baking. The control panel is a bit tricky to learn - why only minutes instead of minutes and seconds? I'd buy the same model again without hesitation.
good value for the price
from Aurora, IN
I've had this for several months, although I haven't used it a lot yet since it is summertime, I love using this oven. The controls are easy, and once it has preheated, the food is usually cooked in the time that is indicated in the recipes. I was used to a really old oven that didn't preheat, and the temperature was not reliable, so this is a treat. The only thing I would like better is if the microwave door opened sideways instead of down. I'm just a little too short to pull something heavy out of the upper portion of the oven.
Smoke from closed door broiling
from St. Louis, MO
We bought this oven about a year ago and have been unable to broil as much as I would like because the closed door broiling method generates so much smoke when the door is opened periodically to check the progress of the food being broiled. One time the smoke set off our smoke alarm!!
I don't recommend Kitchen Aid.

I am not happy over all with the oven or microwaive...timer and temperature: hard to set timer and oven won't stay set, the convection: food cakes, cookies, pie, casserole all cook arround outside of dish, raw on inside. Takes forever to preheat!!! When open door to insert food temperature drastically drops then it has difficulty reheating!!!! Microwave is too deep, hard to reach, clean. I am not a short woman, but it is too deep for me. If it cooked well it would be ok...but design on top of poor baking is a No recommendation from me. My prior GE was great. I am extremely discusted with this oven. I called service but repairman made no effort, told me to let it breaking period!
What a difference

Got this oven in a rush to replace my old kitchen aid of 18 years. Was so surprised how much better this is. Both ovens have convection , which is awesome! It cooks the food better, heats up faster and is much quieter than the older model. Really love using it!
Bakes and microwaves Great!
from Sebastian, Florida
I bought the combination oven/microwave 3 months ago and have found the features easy to use. Foods cook so well in the oven, though it does take a little time for the oven to preheat. The great part about the microwave is that the door opens out, just like the oven.
A comparison with the older kitchen aid wall oven
By b smith
from rye, co
We had the previous version of this kitchen aid wall oven (I think it was a 2006 model). The improvements on the older model are:1. a better and stronger microwave door! The old door hinge broke on us. 2. The lower oven is HUGE! Much bigger than the previous oven. 3. The microwave is more versatile than the older model. But there are a few things we don't like. 1. Microwave has a different 'wavelength' or something, so it heats items in a slightly different way. Handles on coffee cups can get hotter than normal.2. The microwave is a little bit smaller than the old oven.Overall, it is a better wall oven than the old one.
Love my new oven
By Jim the cookie guy
I bought this oven (floor model) to replace an 11year old competitors version of the same size with some of the features of the KitchenAid. The KitchenAid is miles ahead of our old one. It is amazing and does everything they said it would do. Very impressive.
