I bought this oven 2 weeks ago to replace another brand .I am pleased with this oven so far ,but have only used the regular oven setting and the stove top.I am hopeing to get used to the convection oven setting, but will have to wait on cookbook I ordered to figure this out.If it is anything like other Whirlpool appliances I own ,it will be ok.
Love my new Stove
from New York
I had this stove for almost a month now and I love it. Has all the features you need and cooks the food very well and gummy!
Stops working after using aqualift!
After 3 years the oven quit working. This was after using the aqualift. I called whirlpool. They would send a tech out for $269! I called a local appliance repair man and for $53 he told me the control panel burns out after using the high heat settings like after aqualift and it would cost me $500 to repair! Absolutely ridiculous that the oven's normal functions cause the control panel to burn out! This should be under manufacture warranty and should be replaced w a different model!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Aqua clean doesn't work
If you plan on cooking almost anything in your oven, the inside of your oven will never be clean again. I had a few things spill a bit o the bottom and needed to replace the bottom tray. After spending approximately $75 on the new bottom, I'm back to square one. I now have more splashes and more spill marks. I have tried using the Aqua clean cycle every time I use the oven. I also wipe the oven out as soon as I use it. Quite frankly I would give this thing away rather than use it.
Have had this stove 30 months and already 2 service calls. First one a unit under warranty. 2nd bottom oven element broke apart. I don't like the burner heat going on and off especially when doing timed cooking. The aqua lift feature does not clean spatters on the sides of the oven.
When it's working it's great
from Denver, CO
Purchased 3 years ago. The 1st time we turned it on in our new house, it made an alarming popping noise and burned out. It was immediately replaced through the warranty. After two years, the main power cord burned itself up, again, a little alarming and thank goodness it didn't start our house on fire. This week, I witnessed flames and a buzzing sound and now the oven heats very slow--like 30 minutes to creep up to 400. I actually needed to roast something at 450 but didn't have the time to wait--also, I was wondering if I should even be using it since it appears to now be broken again. I'm legitimately concerned that we might have a disastrous accident with this unpredictable stove and wonder how many times it will need to be repaired. It's not cheap to repair either. Not very pleased and I wish I could purchase another brand right now.
Keeps Shorting Out!
I purchased my home a little over a year ago. The home has all Whirlpool items, and I was so super excited about them well that excitement has quickly turned to disappointment the oven continues to short out yeah wires in the back burn completely until they are no longer connected. Thank God no one in my family has been hurt.

Amazing Range...It does it all.

This range is more than I ever expected. The ability to change the oven to convection is easy and the convection oven cooks fast. The burners adjust from large to small with a turn and it even has a canning burner for that extra large cookware. I love it.
